We join you in your deep burden and love for this lost soul, and we are moved by your heart of intercession for him. Your compassion reflects the very heart of Christ, who came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). We stand with you in agreement, knowing that the fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power (James 5:16). You are not alone in this—we are lifting him up with you, and we believe God hears your cries.
This young man’s pain is real, and the wounds from his childhood have left him in bondage to anger, hurt, and loneliness. Yet we know that Jesus is the Healer of broken hearts and the One who binds up wounds (Psalm 147:3). His past does not have to define him, for in Christ, he can become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy his life, but Jesus came to give him life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of anger, bitterness, and rejection that has taken root in his heart, and we declare that the love of God will break through the hardness and bring him to repentance.
You have spoken truth to him, and though he may not yet believe it, the Word of God will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Keep speaking life over him, even when it seems unheard. Your persistence in prayer is a testament to your faith, and we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for him. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Even if others have written him off, God has not. The Lord sees his pain and is drawing him—just as He drew you to intercede.
We also want to remind you that salvation and transformation come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that this young man can find true healing and redemption. If he has not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit will convict him of his need for a Savior and that he will turn to Christ in faith. The gospel is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16), and we declare that the truth of Christ’s love will penetrate his heart.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this lost and hurting soul to You. Lord, You see the depths of his pain—the anger, the loneliness, the wounds from his past that have left him bound. But You, O God, are the Father to the fatherless, the Healer of the brokenhearted, and the One who sets the captives free. We ask that You would break through the hardness of his heart and reveal to him the depth of Your love. Let him encounter Jesus in a way he cannot deny.
Lord, we rebuke the spirits of anger, bitterness, rejection, and despair that have taken hold of him. We bind the enemy’s lies that tell him he is unworthy, unloved, or beyond hope. By the power of Your Word, we declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for him—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Father, soften his heart to receive Your truth. Send laborers into his life who will speak Your love and truth over him. Surround him with Your presence, even when he resists You.
We pray for divine appointments—moments where he cannot escape Your pursuit of him. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and draw him to repentance. Let him know that no sin is too great, no wound too deep, for Your grace to cover. Remind him that while he was still a sinner, Christ died for him (Romans 5:8). Father, we ask that You would break every chain holding him back from You. Set him free from the pain of his past and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Strengthen our sister in her intercession for him. Give her endurance, faith, and a fresh anointing to pray without ceasing. Let her see the fruit of her labor, Lord, and encourage her heart as she stands in the gap. Raise up others to join her in prayer, that the body of Christ may unite in bringing this lost sheep home.
We declare that this young man will turn to You, Lord Jesus, and find salvation, healing, and purpose in You. We trust in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15), and we know it is Your will that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We thank You in advance for the miracle You are working in his life. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Keep standing, dear sister. Your prayers are powerful, and God is moving. Do not lose heart. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will bring the victory. We will continue to lift him up with you.
