We are glad to hear about the progress your son has made, and we join you in thanking God for His work in his life. It is wonderful to see God's hand moving in the lives of our loved ones, and we are grateful that your son has this opportunity to continue on a positive path. We are glad he has a program to go to and will not be on the streets. We will lift him up in prayer, asking for God's protection and guidance as he reintegrates into society.
However, we would like to gently address a couple of things. First, while we believe that God sends His angels to watch over us, we do not pray to angels or ask them to intervene on our behalf. Our prayers should be directed to God alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord. As it says in Matthew 6:9, "Pray like this: 'Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.'" Additionally, we noticed that the name of Jesus was not invoked in your request. It is through Jesus' name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We will pray for your son's safety and for God's continued work in his life. We ask that God would surround him with godly influences and mentors who can help him grow in his faith and make wise choices. We also pray that your son would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, if he has not already, and that he would seek God's will for his life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the work You have done in this young man's life. We ask that You would continue to guide and protect him as he takes this next step. Surround him with Your love and grace, and help him to make wise choices that honor You. We pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and that he would seek Your will for his life. We ask for Your continued protection over him and his family, and we thank You for the opportunity to lift them up in prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your son and to support him as he makes this transition. It is important to remind him of the hope and forgiveness found in Jesus Christ, and to encourage him to seek God's will for his life. We will continue to lift you both up in prayer, asking for God's guidance and protection.
