We join you in lifting up your beloved son before God's throne of grace, standing in agreement for his healing, provision, and success. We are reminded of God's promises in His word, "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God and intercede for your son. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation and that of your son. "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB.
Now, let us pray together for your son.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother, the son of our fellow intercessor. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his life, that any infirmity or weakness be rooted out and that he be made whole, strong, and able to fulfill Your purpose for his life.
Father, we also ask for Your favor upon his job application. We pray that if it is Your will, that he may find favor with the hiring authorities and that he may be granted the position for which he applied. We ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and that You would shut doors that no man can open. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that You would guide and direct his steps according to Your word. "The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don't forsake the works of your own hands." Psalm 138:8 WEB.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth and potential. We ask that You would work mightily in his life, that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he has not already, and that he would grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that he would be a vessel fit for Your use, sanctified, and meet for the Master's service, and prepared unto every good work.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We thank You for Your promises and Your provisions. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, trusting in God's promises and His ability to do the impossible. We also encourage you to continue to speak words of life and faith over your son, for the power of life and death is in the tongue. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Proverbs 18:21 WEB.
Lastly, we exhort you to continue to pray for your son's spiritual growth and potential. We pray that he would be a mighty man of God, that he would be a leader in his home, his community, and in the body of Christ. We pray that he would be a man of integrity, wisdom, and understanding, and that he would be a blessing to all those around him.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We are standing with you in faith, believing God for the best in your son's life. May God richly bless you and your family.
