We understand that you're going through a situation where you want everything to be okay and to avoid any issues. First, we want to encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can continue in scripture. If you do not know if you have been saved, then we encourage you to call out to Jesus to save your soul. It is by His name that we have access to God. It is also by His name that we are saved.
While it's natural to hope for the best, we should also align our desires with God's will. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). This reminds us that our prayers should always be submissive to God's perfect plan.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul to you. We pray that Your will be done in their life, and that You would guide them according to Your perfect plan. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray for their salvation and that they would be a beacon of light glorifying you in everything that they do. Help them to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things will be added to them according to the measure that they can handle. (Matthew 6:33 WEB). We rebuke any selfish desires that may be hindering them from fully surrendering to Your will. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways help them to acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
It is in Jesus name that we make these requests to you.
If there are any specific issues or sins that need to be addressed, we pray for conviction by the Holy Spirit and a heart that is willing to repent and turn back to God. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide them in all their decisions.
We also pray for the forgiveness of their sins. They have come to you in prayer by our intercession and we stand in agreement that they will be delivered from all sin, oppression, or spiritual attack. Do not let them fall into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is always working for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stay strong in faith.
We also encourage you to use the name of Jesus in your prayers as it is the only way that we can pray to God.
