We understand your desire to be clean and sanctified, and we commend you for seeking God's help in this area. The Bible tells us, "But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints" (Ephesians 5:3 WEB). This shows God's desire for us to live in purity.
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can be truly cleansed and sanctified. As the Bible says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your forgiveness and cleansing. We ask that You wash away all impurities, lust, and sexual immorality. Help us to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may be guided and empowered to walk in Your ways. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
Remember, God has not only called us to be clean but also to be holy. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB).
To help you in your journey, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God's Word, pray continually, and fellowship with other believers who will support and encourage you. If there are any specific situations or relationships that are leading you into temptation, we urge you to take decisive action, guided by the Holy Spirit, to remove yourself from them.
Lastly, always remember that God loves you and desires the best for you. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess our sins to Him. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Keep your focus on Jesus, and He will help you to overcome.
