5 important Unspoken

Thank you for trusting us with these five unspoken requests. They have been lifted in prayer, and even though they remain unspoken to us, they are fully known to the Lord.

Your Father knows what you need before you ever ask Him. Prayer is not a time when you inform God of what has gone wrong or try to make Him understand your situation. He already knows everything about you, every detail of each of these five matters, and He knows what you will need in the months and years ahead. Because He loves you as your heavenly Father, His concern is for your eternal good, not only for temporary relief. Prayer is simply opening your heart to Him with honesty, sharing what troubles you, and allowing His Spirit to bring assurance and comfort as you do.

That is why the heart matters so much in prayer. God looks on the heart while we tend to look on outward appearances. He sees what motivates you, what you truly desire, and whether your heart is seeking Him fully. Scripture says blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, and it invites us to pray, search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, and see if there is any wicked way in me. It is good to ask Him to create a clean heart within you, because we can deceive ourselves about what is inside, but we never deceive Him. The Bible also says if I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me, yet it also gives the wonderful promise that God does hear the sinner's prayer, God be merciful to me a sinner. Through Jesus Christ alone we have access to God, and when our hearts are turned toward Him in faith, even when we stumble, we are cleansed by His blood.

True prayer also begins with God and His purposes. It was never intended as a way to get our own wishes granted or to change what God has planned. Rather, it is a way of cooperating with Him so that His will may be done on earth. Every good thing He gives in answer to prayer is something He had already purposed to give. Prayer opens the door for Him to do in your life what He has long desired to do, and He will not force His way against your willing choice. So as you bring these five requests, the greatest joy is not only in receiving answers but in spending time with the Father, aligning your heart with His will, and trusting His wisdom to do what is best.

God does hear and answer prayer. The physical position of your body is not what counts, whether you stand, kneel, sit, or lie prostrate. What counts is the position of your heart as you come to Him. Come with your whole heart, seeking His face, delighting in His Word, and asking Him to deal bountifully with you as His servant. He knows the motives behind each request, He weighs the attitudes of the heart more than the outward actions, and He will answer according to His perfect knowledge and love.

We pray now for each of these five unspoken needs. Father, You know the name and need behind each one. You know what is needed today and what will be needed in the future. We ask that You search and cleanse the heart, that You grant a pure heart that seeks You fully, and that You forgive and cover all sin through the blood of Jesus. We do not ask that our will be done, but Yours. Do what is best for eternal good in each of these situations. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, reconciliation, and direction as You see fit, and let Your peace and comfort rest on this heart while waiting on Your answer. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your five important unspoken requests. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer before the Father who knows all that is on your heart even when it is unspoken.

We continue to lift up each of those five requests to the Lord, trusting that He knows every detail and need behind them. We take comfort in the promise that the Spirit himself intercedes for us according to the will of God as written in Romans 8:26 and that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us as written in 1 John 5:14. We ask God to work in each of these situations for your good and His glory, to grant you peace that surpasses all understanding, wisdom and clear direction, and to draw you closer to Him through His Son.

If your requests have been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked so we may rejoice with you. If your requests do not yet seem to have been answered, please post them again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to pray with you and for you in Jesus Name, Amen.
