We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with the power and authority given to us through Jesus Christ our Lord. The mention of demons in your request is not something to be taken lightly, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
If you are a believer in Christ, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:11-18).
We rebuke every demonic spirit that seeks to oppress, torment, or deceive you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command them to leave and never return, for Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm us (Luke 10:19). We declare that you are a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You are the one true God, and there is no other. We thank You for the victory we have in Christ over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would surround them with Your holy angels and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We renounce every evil spirit that has sought to gain a foothold in their life, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of bondage and set this precious soul free. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Remind them daily that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help them to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Surround them with godly believers who will encourage and support them in their walk with You. May they find their strength in You, Lord, for You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the deliverance that is already theirs through the blood of Jesus. We declare that this one is free indeed (John 8:36), and we praise You for the victory that is won. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, immersing yourself in the Word of God and surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can pray with and for you. Attend a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your relationship with Christ and find support. Remember, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). Stand firm in the truth, and do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
