4 month old having EEG test for possible seizures

Please pray for baby ###, he's ### months old and having an EEG test done (brain wave exam) this coming Thursday. Pray that he's seizure free. For the Lord to heal him completely from seizures he suffered as a newborn. Also, so that he will be taken off of his barbiturate medication he's on. He is addicted to it. I want to wean him off of it as well. Pray that he won't have any harmful side effects from the meds. I'm so stressed out. Pray it all goes well the day of the exam. They will be sedating him as well and can't feed him 4 hours prior to the test. thank you and God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ.

Lord, we know that medication is necessary sometimes—please heal this child—please comfort his mom and let her know that this medication is not addictive for this child—it is a barbiturate yes, but in these children, it does not cause them to crave the drug. The drug is there to protect the baby from further harm—to disable the brain from having the seizures it was having before so that there is no more harm. Children usually do not need medication forever; that is your miracle. They are so young and are growing so fast; the miracle of the divine organism is like a tree growing roots—they find their way to what they need in a myriad of ways.
