We understand how disorienting and frustrating this feels for you, especially when you are someone who values being organized and having a clear pattern to follow. Being in limbo on three different fronts at once, dealing with three different people and three different situations, can feel like you are being pulled in every direction with no solid ground to stand on. We hear your frustration and we want to lift you up before the Lord together.
We want to gently remind you that while we strive for order, our ultimate stability cannot come from our own organization, from circumstances, or from other people, all of which will at times prove unreliable. Our stability must come from the Lord who never changes. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. When we lean on our own ability to keep everything in order, limbo feels like torture, but when we lean on Him, even the waiting has purpose. A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9.
We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly address that because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can bring these burdens to Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is in His name we can come boldly to the throne of grace to find help in this very time of need.
We want to encourage you to see this season of limbo not as punishment, but as an invitation to deeper dependence on God. He often allows unreliable circumstances and people to show us that He alone is reliable. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Even these three tangled situations can be woven together for your good as you trust Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We encourage you to ask Him specifically for wisdom and clarity for each of the three fronts, one by one, rather than trying to solve all three at once in your own strength.
We gently rebuke the spirit of frustration that can take root when things feel out of control, because that frustration can lead us to anxiety, harsh words, or taking matters into our own hands apart from God. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:5.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who feels whacked on three fronts and stuck in torturous limbo. Lord, You see each of these three situations and each person involved, even when we do not know the details, You know them fully. We ask for Your divine order to come into this disorder. Grant clear wisdom for each situation, show what can be done today and what must be waited upon, and give the grace to release what cannot be controlled. We pray You would guard this heart from frustration and anxiety and fill it instead with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our friend to trust not in unreliable people or shifting circumstances, but to commit each way to You and to wait on Your timing. Establish these steps, for a man’s steps are established by Yahweh, when he delights in his way. Psalm 37:23. Restore a clear pattern and direction, that this organized spirit may be used for Your glory and not become a source of torment. Draw this one closer to Jesus, that they may know the hope and future You promise, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
