I'm currently on my 13th day without cutting. Starting my 14th in about an hour. I ask for prayers for my dad and my relationship to mend, which had caused the cutting in the first place. I also had a friend today break his ankle, and we have prom tomorrow. His mom is in Virginia right now, and she is worried about him. Finally? My band director (who has been helping me passed the cutting) is going through a rough patch as well. He is in the divorce process with his wife, whom he still loves. She doesn't love him or God anymore. It's sad to see him so upset over it, because I know he loves his wife soooo much. He would like prayers for his wife, and I would just ask for prayers over the whole situation.

Lord, we pray with Elizabeth concerning her cutting problem. Ease her inner pain that she can only express through outer self mutilation. Whatever her issues are You are bigger and more powerful and merciful that any attack from satan. Grant her the strength and courage to overcome this compulsion and give her emotional peace. Also, Lord, touch her dad that he can be a positive and loving support to her. Lord, thank You for Elizabeth's concern and compassion for her injured friend and her respected band director. We pray for a swift healing of her friend's ankle and for the restoration of her band director's marriage. Thank You, Almighty God, for answered prayers. AMEN
