We come before the Lord with a grateful heart for the opportunity you’ve been given to interview for this position. Father, we lift up this job interview to You, asking that You guide every word spoken, every decision made, and every impression left. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut, and we trust in Your provision. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). May this opportunity align with Your perfect will for their life, their son, and their family.
We pray that if this is Your will, the hiring team would see the value, skills, and dedication You have placed within them. Grant them favor in the eyes of those making the decision, and let this position be one where they can thrive, provide for their family, and serve You wholeheartedly. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). May the salary and role reflect the responsibility You’ve entrusted to them and the needs of their household.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen their confidence as they prepare. Let them rest in the knowledge that You hold their future and that You are their ultimate Provider. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). May they enter this interview with peace, knowing that You are with them.
We must also gently address the mention of "Jesus hove chance" in the request. While we appreciate the heart behind the words, we want to remind you that salvation and access to God come only through faith in Jesus Christ. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the foundation upon which all other blessings flow.
Lord, we also lift up their family to You. May this job, if it is Your will, bring stability, joy, and provision to their home. Let their son see the faithfulness of God through this season, and may their family grow closer to You as they trust in Your care. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take root in their heart. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this interview is in Your hands, and we trust You to work all things together for good.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
