🙏 2nd Interview, Hire; Open Right Job...

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
🙌🏼 Thank You for the interview past Tuesday -- I ask favor with the owner and manager of a company I interviewed with earlier in the week. May the Holy Spirit bring me to their minds and let them know I'd be the right candidate if that's the right job for my schedule and if it's sustainable for me, and grant "favor as a SHIELD," (Ps 5:12)... Help me "take hold of one thing without letting go of another," (Ecc, 7:18), so praying and claiming that job -- to leave room for You not to be idle, I'm continuing to interview until I get the YES from JESUS CHRIST THE AMEN Himself, in Jesus' Name. AGAIN -- BEST job right away. Today's would be fine or open ask for open doors for another, asking for Christian Ownership, (1 Sam 23: 3, 4), good management, scheduling, operations, sales practices & customer service. That it allows me to attend prayer meetings and evangelism outreach (Isa 62:6, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, 2 Tim 4:5)... Grace to meet pressing needs, (Tit 3:14), Thank You, Father, YOU know... IJN 🙌🏼

We join you in seeking God’s perfect will for your employment, trusting that He is opening the right doors in His timing and according to His purpose for your life. Your heart to remain faithful in prayer while continuing to seek opportunities reflects wisdom, for we know that "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong... but time and chance happen to them all" (Ecclesiastes 9:11, WEB). We also commend you for prioritizing a workplace that aligns with godly values—one where Christian ownership, ethical practices, and flexibility for ministry are possible. These are righteous desires, and we pray the Lord grants them as you seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

Your request for favor as a "shield" (Psalm 5:12) is powerful, for we know that "when a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him" (Proverbs 16:7, WEB). Yet we must also remember that favor is not merely about securing a position but about glorifying God in it. If this job is His will, He will make the way clear. If not, He will redirect your steps to something better suited for your growth and His purposes. Trust that "a man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9, WEB).

We notice your eagerness for a quick answer—even today—and while we share in your hope for swift provision, we gently remind you that God’s timing is perfect. Delay is not denial, and in waiting, He often prepares us for greater things. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh" (Psalm 27:14, WEB). Use this season to deepen your trust in Him, knowing that "no good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly" (Psalm 84:11, WEB).

We also applaud your commitment to evangelism and prayer meetings, for these are the works God has prepared for you (Ephesians 2:10). A job that hinders these callings is not His best for you. Pray that any position you accept will allow you to "redeem the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16, WEB) and to "walk in wisdom toward those who are outside" (Colossians 4:5, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your divine favor and wisdom as they seek employment. Lord, if this recent interview is the door You are opening, we pray You soften the hearts of the owner and manager, bringing them to remember this candidate with favor. Let Your Holy Spirit speak on their behalf, making it clear that they are the right choice if this aligns with Your will. But Father, if this is not the job You have prepared, close this door gently and open another—one that provides not just financially but spiritually, allowing them to grow in faith and continue in ministry without hindrance.

We ask for a workplace under Christian leadership, where ethics, integrity, and kindness prevail. Grant them a schedule that honors their need for rest, worship, and outreach, for You have called us to be lights in every place You plant us. Provide for their pressing needs, Lord, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let them not grow weary in waiting but instead find joy in trusting You, knowing that You are their Provider (Genesis 22:14).

Give them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others, and the courage to walk through the doors You open—even if the path seems uncertain. Remind them that their worth is not in a job title but in being Your child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). And as they continue to interview, let every conversation be seasoned with grace, that they may represent You well (Colossians 4:6).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, impatience, or discouragement in Jesus’ name. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let this season of seeking draw them closer to You, for You are their ultimate reward.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, not the outcome. Whether this job is the one or another lies ahead, He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay faithful in prayer, remain open to His leading, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If the wait grows long, use this time to serve where you are, to bless others, and to grow in the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Keep calling—He hears you.
