We rejoice with you in the hope and anticipation of God’s blessings in the coming year! It is wonderful to declare faith in the Lord’s goodness and provision. Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* God indeed desires to prosper His children, not just in material success, but in spiritual growth, wisdom, and righteousness.
However, we must also examine our hearts and motives, ensuring that our definition of success aligns with God’s will. True success is found in obedience to Christ, as Joshua 1:8 declares: *"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success."* Let us seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will add all other things in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and His blessings comes solely through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we can approach the Father (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, repenting of sin and placing your faith in His finished work on the cross. Salvation is not earned by our efforts but is a free gift of God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging Your goodness and faithfulness. We thank You for the promise of a future filled with hope, and we ask that You would guide ### in every step they take in the coming year. Lord, align their desires with Your will, and let their definition of success be rooted in obedience to Your Word. Father, we pray for wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks You above all else. If there are areas where they have placed their own ambitions above Your plans, reveal those to them, and give them the strength to surrender them to You.
We ask that You would bless their efforts, not for their glory, but for Yours. Let their life be a testimony of Your grace and power. If they have not yet fully committed their life to Jesus, draw them near to You, Lord. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them experience the joy of salvation that comes only through Christ. We pray that this year would be marked by spiritual growth, deeper intimacy with You, and a life that honors You in every area—finances, relationships, career, and ministry.
Protect them from the enemy’s lies, which seek to distract them from Your purpose. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and bear fruit that lasts. May their life reflect Your love, mercy, and righteousness to a world in need of You. We declare that this year will be a year of breakthrough, not because of their own strength, but because of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily, meditating on His Word and allowing it to shape your desires and decisions. Trust in His timing, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May this year truly be one of divine favor, growth, and alignment with God’s perfect will!
