2 Timothy: 1:7

Praying this verse over my oldest daughter. She needs the Lord to do a work in her heart regarding apply this verse to all areas in her life. If she doesn't listen to the Lord in the verse, she won't be able to reach her potential. Maybe it's because her spirit listens to the enemy-Satan and not Jesus and what God thinks of her. Pray she only hears God's instruction to her heart and mind and that He blesses her for it. Thank you!

When I was in my early 20's my mom told me about this verse. She told me how it helped her in her first year of college. She was so nervous that she was throwing up a lot. Other students at the Christian Women College were saying she was pregnant ; keep in mind this was 1936. The wise M.D. that she saw was sure that it was nerves; that she wasn't sick.  I don't remember everything he said but he did want to see her again in 3 months. He said that if she was still having the same problems he would apologize and  treat her. Well long story short he hardly recognized her.  Second Timothy 1:7 helped her to make this dramatic change. You reminding me of that verse today came at  a time when I really need it. Thank you. I will remember to  pray that the Lord helps both your daughter and me to apply this verse to all areas of our lives.
