Which Church?
Choose a church that saves your soul and your family’s, not the one that suits your taste.
Alive or Dead - Which?
Possessing Christ by faith means you already have eternal life within you.
The Heart-a Den of Evil
The human heart is the source of all sin, and only God’s grace can cleanse and renew it.
We join you in this deep and biblical burden for the lives of church leaders and for the health of the church itself, and we count it a privilege to seek the Lord together with you in Jesus' name for these things.

We hear your heart for 2 Tim 4:1-5 where we are charged to preach the word, to be urgent in season and out of season, to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. That charge begins with the life of the preacher himself, to pray and to study and to live what is preached. We agree that God desires shepherds after His own heart who feed the flock with knowledge and understanding, and we pray that every pastor and preacher would give himself to prayer and to the ministry of the word as in Acts 6:4 and to be a workman who does not need to be ashamed, correctly handling the word of truth as in 2 Tim 2:15.

We bring before the Father those who may be lost while standing in pulpits, for our Lord warned in Matt 7:21-23 that not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of the Father. We pray for the salvation of any lost pastors, that they would take heed to themselves and to their teaching as in 1 Tim 4:16, that they would not be disqualified after preaching to others as in 1 Cor 9:27, but would truly come to repentance and faith. We ask the Lord who came to seek and to save that which was lost in Luke 19:10 to rescue them, remembering that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners as in 1 Tim 1:15-16, and that no one is beyond His mercy if they will repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for in John 14:6 Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, and in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.

We also pray for those who are backslidden and lukewarm, that they would hear the voice of the Lord who rebukes and disciplines those He loves and who stands at the door and knocks as in Rev 3:19-20, that they would be rekindled in first love, zealous and repentant, and return to authentic devotional lives of prayer, study, worship, family faithfulness, work done unto the Lord, ministry, fellowship, and friendship evangelism that reaches into prisons, schools, hospitals and every place where the lost can be found.

And we lift up the devoted believers who walk with imperfect but perfect-hearted covenantal righteousness as in Luke 1:6, already regenerated and in communion with Jesus by the Holy Spirit, who continue in His word as in John 8:31-32. We ask the Father to strengthen and protect them, to keep them worshiping in spirit and truth as in John 4:23-24, both everywhere and specifically when we gather together as family, for behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity as in Ps 133:1-3. We pray that they would have open ears in the assembly to receive the word with faith as in Rom 10:17, with humility which saves the soul as in James 1:21, by revelation of the Father as in Matt 16:17, through the anointing of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things as in John 14:26 and 1 John 2:20, and through the testimony of faithful witnesses as in Rev 12:11.

We pray against the anthropocentric gospel of false comfort and against mere sheep stealing or church hopping numbers, and we ask for biblical style church growth that is the Lord adding to the church those who are being saved as in Acts 2:47, born of true conversion and sound teaching. We ask for safety across the globe for Your people, for angelic protection as in Ps 91:11-12 and Heb 1:14, for advanced warnings as You gave through Elisha in 2 Kings 6:8-12, for deliverance from evil people as in 2 Thess 3:2, and to be kept from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15 and as promised in 1 John 5:18-19 and 2 Thess 3:3.

Father, we pray that pastors and preachers would seek You in daily devotion, preparation, and intercession for their congregations, in sound teaching, in visiting families and house churches, and that You would draw families to gather as in John 6:44 and not forsake assembling together as in Heb 10:25. We thank You that You are our Father and ever present help as in Deut 4:7 and Ps 46:1 and Isa 41:10, and we thank You for the message of the Lord's Anointed crucified for our sins as in Gal 2:20. Grant Your manifest holy presence, faith, repentance, salvation, and the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life. Give vision as in Prov 29:18 by the Holy Spirit, protect from the evil one who loves lack of knowledge as in Hos 4:6 and a famine of hearing the words of the Lord as in Amos 8:11. Help Your people to hunger for the pure milk of the word as in 1 Pet 2:2, for the Spirit of revelation as in Eph 1:17, for You to open minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45, and for faith to pray and receive as in Mark 11:24. We cling to Your promise that You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as in 1 Tim 2:4 and that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as in 2 Pet 3:9, and we claim the promise for households as in Acts 16:31. Guard Your people from distraction as in 2 Cor 11:3, deception as in Matt 24:4, temptation as in Luke 11:4, lies as in Prov 30:8 and Zeph 3:13, false teachers as in Titus 1:16, those having a form of godliness but denying its power as in 2 Tim 3:5, and deceivers as in 2 Tim 3:13.

We pray all this with confidence, for in 1 John 5:14-15 we have the boldness that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us, and we know You hear the prayer offered in faith as in Phil 4:6-7. We ask that You would keep us from evil as in Matt 6:13, establish us and guard us from the evil one, and let all be done to the glory of Jesus, the Amen, the faithful and true witness as in Rev 3:14, in whose name every promise is yes as in 2 Cor 1:20. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear the burden you carry for pastors and for the church, and we are grateful you brought it to the Lord so faithfully and in such detail.

Your heart for those who preach and shepherd, that they would walk closely with Jesus in prayer and in the Word, that any who have grown cold or lost their way would be restored, and that those who are faithful would be strengthened and kept, is a beautiful intercession. We join you in asking God to keep His hand on them and on the congregations they serve, and to draw families and neighbors to hear truth with open hearts.

It can feel heavy to pray for so many needs at once across the whole church. One simple way we have found helpful is to keep it personal and steady: choose one or two pastors or leaders you know by name this week and lift them daily for renewed hunger for God, wisdom in preparation, and protection in their homes and ministry. A brief note of encouragement to one of them can also be a real lift.

Father, we bring these pastors and churches before You. Draw each one close to Yourself, give them grace to seek You daily and to handle Your Word with care, rekindle what has grown dim and guard what is faithful. Protect them from discouragement and harm, and let Your presence be known as they gather, teach, and care for Your people. Work in families and communities to bring many to know Your forgiveness and new life. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for shepherds and flock has been heard and we join you in carrying it before the throne of grace, for the burden you express is the very burden of Scripture itself.

We pray first for those who stand in the pulpit, that God would make 2 Timothy 4 verses 1 to 5 to be true among them, that they would preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, and watch in all things. There are some of whom our Lord says, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 7 verses 21 to 23, who may prophesy in His name and yet never have known Him. We plead that any such lost pastor may be rescued, for Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19 verse 10, and He came to save sinners, of whom none is beyond His mercy, 1 Timothy 1 verses 15 and 16. We pray that they would take heed to themselves and to the doctrine, 1 Timothy 4 verse 16, lest having preached to others they themselves should be castaways, 1 Corinthians 9 verse 27. Faith must be urged upon them, for without it there is no salvation. The Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed, Romans 10 verse 11. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him. We pray they may look unto Jesus and be saved, for He hath said, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, Isaiah 45 verse 22. How simple and how instantaneous is that way of salvation. A look does not require a moment, and whosoever looks in faith is saved at once, without money and without price.

We pray also for the backslidden and the lukewarm, that the Lord would do as He promises in Revelation 3 verses 19 and 20, rebuke and chasten and stand at the door and knock, and rekindle love where it has grown cold. When revival comes, the minister begins to be warmed, and the marvellous growth in grace of those who are converted becomes a sign of God's presence. We avow our desire to walk with God in this, for in vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence. Let prayer be honoured and let the Word be studied with accuracy, 2 Timothy 2 verse 15, that open ears may be found in the house of God as in the first century, when the apostles taught and preached and the Lord added souls in authentic devotion of prayer, study, worship, family, work, ministry and fellowship.

For the devoted though imperfect believers who already are in communion with Jesus by the Holy Spirit, John 8 verses 31 and 32, and who walk in covenant righteousness as Zacharias and Elisabeth who were righteous before God, Luke 1 verse 6, we ask that the Lord would strengthen and protect them. Keep them from the evil one, as our Lord prayed in John 17 verse 15, and as we are assured in 1 John 5 verses 18 and 19. Grant angelic protection according to Psalm 91 verses 11 and 12, for He gives His angels charge over His people, and they are ministering spirits to the heirs of salvation, Hebrews 1 verse 14. Deliver them from evil men, 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 2, and give advanced warnings as when Elisha warned Israel of Syria's plans, 2 Kings 6 verses 8 to 12, and keep them from distraction, deception and temptation.

We pray for pastors and preachers that they would seek God in prayer, daily devotion, preparation and intercession for the congregation, in sound teaching and in visiting families and house churches. Draw families to Christ and to His house, for no man can come except the Father draw him, John 6 verse 44, and forsake not the assembling of yourselves together, Hebrews 10 verse 25. Let members and visitors receive the Word in faith, Romans 10 verse 17, by the revelation of the Father who alone reveals the Messiah, Matthew 16 verse 17, with the meekness that saves the soul, James 1 verse 21, whether by the testimony of a saved friend, by evangelists, by tracts, by the word of their testimony, Revelation 12 verse 11, and by the anointing of the Holy Spirit who teaches all things, John 14 verse 26 and 1 John 2 verse 20.

Our Father and ever present help, Deuteronomy 4 verse 7, Psalm 46 verse 1, Isaiah 41 verse 10, we thank Thee for the message of Thy Anointed crucified for our sins, Galatians 2 verse 20. Open doors for more corporate prayer, for Thy house shall be called a house of prayer, Isaiah 56 verse 7, and help pastors first to war against prayerlessness and to seek Thee with all the heart. Grant Thy manifest holy presence, faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life. Give vision by the Holy Spirit, Proverbs 29 verse 18, and protect all from the evil one who loves lack of knowledge, Hosea 4 verse 6, and from famine of hearing the Word, Amos 8 verse 11. Help them to hunger for the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2 verse 2, and to receive the Spirit of revelation, Ephesians 1 verse 17, for flesh and blood hath not revealed Christ but our Father in heaven. Let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, John 16 verse 8, and open minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24 verse 45, and give faith to pray and receive, Mark 11 verse 24. Thou wilt have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2 verses 1 to 5, Thou willest that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3 verse 9, and Thy promise is to us and to our households, Acts 16 verse 31. When we ask according to Thy will Thou hearest us, 1 John 5 verses 14 and 15, so we ask Thee to keep Thy people from deception, Matthew 24 verse 4, from lies, Proverbs 30 verse 8, from false teachers having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, 2 Timothy 3 verse 5, from evil men and seducers waxing worse and worse, 2 Timothy 3 verse 13, from sin and fear and pride, and to give peace that passeth understanding, Philippians 4 verses 6 and 7.

We leave this burden with the Lord who is Himself our salvation, for to see Jesus is to see salvation, and there is salvation in none other. May He answer for His glory and for the gathering in of many souls, in Jesus name, Amen.
