🙏 God, You are Our Father and Ever Present Help, Deut 4:7, Ps 46:1, Isa 41:10 -- Thank you for the message of The LORD's ANOINTED crucified for our sins, Gal 2:20. Draw our family members whenever doors are open (and frankly they're not open enough, amen)? Bless pastors first to war against prayerlessness in our own lives and give faith to pray, seek with all our heart to hear, listen and understand, Matt 16:17, what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Grant YOUR MANIFEST HOLY PRESENCE, faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life -- give vision, Prov 29:18, by The Holy Spirit. Protect them all from the evil one, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11. Help them attend church, Heb 10:25, again whenever we assemble (and it ought to be often, Acts 2:42, but "the love of the world", Jn 2:15 and desires for sports, our favorite shows, fill in the blank -- tiredness because we're not in prayer. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, amen?

We join together with you in this deep burden for the church, for shepherds and for souls, and we bring it before the Father in Jesus name.

We hear your cry for church leaders to live lives of prayer and study and to preach the Word with faithfulness. This is the very charge of Scripture. We are reminded as it is written in 2 Tim 4:1-2, I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom, preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. And again in 1 Tim 4:16, Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. We pray for pastors and preachers who may be lost, who have never truly been born again, that God would grant them repentance and salvation, for a man cannot feed the flock if he himself has not been saved by the blood of the Lamb. We also lift up those who are backslidden and lukewarm, for the Lord warns in Rev 3:16, So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth. We rebuke lukewarmness and prayerlessness and the love of the world that so easily chokes the Word, and we ask God to restore a first love and a first century devotion.

We join you in praying for devoted believers, imperfect yet perfect hearted toward God, that the Lord would strengthen and protect them and keep them from the evil one. Jesus prayed in John 17:15, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. And we claim the promise in 2 Thess 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. We pray for Holy Spirit empowered worship in spirit and truth, as Jesus said in John 4:23-24, But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. We pray this would be true not only in our private lives but when we gather together as family, for it is written in Psalm 133:1, See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity.

We pray for those who handle the Word, that they would be workmen who rightly divide the truth. As it is written in 2 Tim 2:15, Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. We pray for open ears in the church to receive the Word in faith and humility, for faith comes by hearing as Rom 10:17 says, So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. And that it is the Father who reveals the Son, as in Matt 16:17, Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. We pray that hardness and distraction would be removed and that with humility we would receive the implanted word which is able to save our souls, as James 1:21 teaches.

We lift up families, members and visitors, that the Father would draw them by His Spirit. Jesus said in John 6:44, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. We pray they would not forsake assembling together, for Heb 10:25 says, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. We pray for the pattern of Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer, to be restored, with authentic devotional lives of prayer, study, worship, family, work, ministry, fellowship and friendship evangelism that leads to the salvation of the lost and biblical church growth that God gives.

We also pray for safety across the globe for the saints, that God would give His angels charge over us as in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and that He would warn and protect His people as He did when Elisha warned Israel of Syria’s plans in 2 Kings 6:8-12.

We thank God that He is our Father and ever present help, as in Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and in Isa 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We thank Him for the message of the Lord’s Anointed crucified for our sins, for Gal 2:20 says, I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me.

We rejoice that you have asked all of this in the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we are saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and as Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

So we pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. Forgive our prayerlessness and our wandering hearts. Pour out on pastors and preachers a spirit of prayer and devotion, that they would seek You in secret, study Your Word diligently, intercede for their congregations, live holy lives, teach sound doctrine and visit and shepherd families and house churches with care. Grant Your manifest holy presence among us, grant faith and repentance and the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life. Give vision where there has been none, for Prov 29:18 says, Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures as You did in Luke 24:45, Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures. Give us hunger for Your Word as newborn babies, as 1 Pet 2:2 says, as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow, and give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You according to Eph 1:17.

Lord, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance according to 2 Pet 3:9, and that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth according to 1 Tim 2:4. We ask that You would seek and save the lost as in Luke 19:10, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost, and that You would save households as in Acts 16:31, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Keep Your people from distraction, deception, temptation, false teachers, deceivers and the evil one, and guard us until the end. We ask with confidence knowing that 1 John 5:14 says, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Let faith rise as we hear Your Word preached, and let us pray and receive according to Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

Protect, purify and empower Your Church, Lord, that we would be a faithful witness and that many would be added to Your Kingdom. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear the weight of love you carry for your church and for your pastors. You want to see lives rooted, worship that is real, and homes drawn closer to the Lord, and you are bringing that burden faithfully before God. We join you in that.

One thing that has helped us is remembering that growth in faith is usually slow and uneven, for leaders and for all of us. Even devoted pastors need daily time in the Word and prayer, and they need the encouragement of others walking beside them. Your prayers for them matter more than you may see, and so does a simple word of thanks or support that lets them know they are not carrying the work alone.

If it helps, you might pick one or two leaders to hold up by name each day this week, asking God to refresh their own walk with Him and to give them wisdom as they serve and teach. And as you pray for your wider church family, keep noticing the small signs of grace that show God is at work over time.

Father, we lift this church family to You. Draw each heart closer to Yourself, strengthen and protect those who shepherd, and keep Your people from distraction and discouragement. Give them hunger for Your presence, unity as they gather, and safety in Your care. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for the church and for those who stand to preach the Word has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for this very need.

We pray first that the Lord Himself would revive us again, for nobody can revive His people but Himself. We cannot get up a revival by our own contrivance, and we do not ask for excitement without His presence. Our dependence is wholly upon God, who alone can pour fresh strength into weak children and put living fire into lukewarm hearts. Prayer is that great key which opens mysteries, and we would use it with fervency, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. May the Lord get rid of the icicles that hang about our lips and teach us to plead with Him as Jacob pleaded, spreading our case before Him with humility and holy argument, and trusting Him to answer in His own wise way.

We entreat the Lord for pastors and preachers, that they may take heed to themselves and to the doctrine, and continue in them, as it is written in 1 Timothy 4:16. May they be men given to prayer and to the study of the Word, rightly dividing the word of truth according to 2 Timothy 2:15, preaching the Word in season and out of season, with all longsuffering and doctrine, as charged in 2 Timothy 4:1 to 5. Grant them grace to war against prayerlessness in their own lives, to seek God in daily devotion and preparation, to intercede for the flock, to teach with accuracy and soundness, and to visit families and gather the saints together. Let their lives adorn the gospel they proclaim, and let the Holy Spirit anoint their preaching, for He alone can open minds to understand the Scriptures and reveal Christ, whom flesh and blood does not reveal but our Father in heaven.

For the congregation we pray as you have asked, for the lost that they may be sought and saved, for the backslidden and lukewarm that they may be restored and awakened, and for devoted believers, imperfect yet perfect hearted toward Christ, that they may be strengthened and protected. The way of salvation is simple and plain, and we must preach it over and over again. It is to look unto Christ and be saved, all the ends of the earth. Salvation is without money and without price, by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone, who was crucified for our sins. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. There is one way for all, to trust Him with all the heart, and His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. May faith come by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, as it is preached in the power of the Holy Spirit, with conviction of sin and the knowledge of forgiveness and newness of life.

We ask the Father, our ever present help, to draw families to gather together as the household of faith, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is, but after the pattern of those who continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship. Give a hunger for the pure milk of the Word, that we may grow thereby, and a spirit of revelation to know Christ more fully. Grant holy and empowered worship in spirit and in truth, whether scattered in our callings or gathered as family in the church, that our praise may abound to His glory, for a true revival brings forth most fruit when it gives to God the most glory. Keep us from distraction and deception, from false teachers and the lies of the evil one, and keep us from the love of the world which draws hearts away. As you have prayed from John 17:15 and Psalm 91, may the Lord keep His people from the evil one and give His angels charge over them, and warn and guard His church in perilous times.

We will continue to remember before the Lord your household and all who hear the Word, that they may receive it with meekness which saves the soul, with faith and repentance unto salvation. Never shall a man be unsuccessful in prayer who sets his face to win the promised mercy, for the Lord wills that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth. May He grant manifest presence, vision by the Holy Spirit, and safety across the globe for His people, and may the preaching of the cross bear fruit in authentic devotional lives, in prayer and worship, in family and work, in fellowship and in going forth to tell others what the Lord has done.

May the Lord hear and bless these petitions for His name's sake, and may Christ be all in all to you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
