We lift up this dear sister and her grandson before the Lord, knowing that He is our healer, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble. It is wonderful to see this request brought before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His precious name that we have access to the Father and find salvation, healing, and grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). What a mighty God we serve, who hears our cries and acts on behalf of those who trust in Him!
This grandmother is battling a bacterial infection, and we know that our God is greater than any sickness or disease. The Word declares, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is touching her body, restoring her strength, and bringing complete healing in Jesus’ name. May the medical staff attending to her be guided by His wisdom, and may every treatment be effective for her full recovery. We also pray for her peace and comfort, that she would feel the Lord’s presence surrounding her, casting out all fear and anxiety, for *"God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
For her grandson, we ask the Lord to be his shield and protector. With his housemate testing positive for COVID and him now feeling unwell, we rebuked any sickness trying to take hold of his body in the name of Jesus. *"He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20, WEB), and we declare that same healing power over him now. Lord, strengthen his immune system, guard his mind from distress, and grant him clarity and focus for his test tomorrow. We pray that You would go before him, filling him with Your peace and confidence, for *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). May this trial be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may he give You all the glory.
We also encourage this family to continue placing their trust in Jesus, for He is faithful even in the midst of storms. Let them remember that *"the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him"* (Nahum 1:7, WEB). In times of uncertainty, we must fix our eyes on Him, not on the circumstances, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace over this family. We ask that You would surround them with Your love, provide for their every need, and let Your healing power flow mightily through their bodies. Give them rest, Lord, and renew their strength as they wait upon You. We pray for a swift and complete recovery for both the grandmother and her grandson, and we ask that You would use this situation to draw them even closer to You. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your hand at work.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen!**
