Prepare to Meet Thy God
The Ministry of Gratitude
We join you humbly before the Father and thank Him for your heart to serve and to care for people in His name, and we agree with you that our adequacy is not from ourselves but from God. As it is written, Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 2 Corinthians 3:5.

We pray together for the work you have before you these next two days. We ask the Lord to grant you wisdom, insight, and rapport beyond your own ability, that every meeting and every intervention would reflect His agape love and mercy. We pray that He will give you prepared hearts among those you serve, that nothing needed would be forgotten, and that your words would be encouraging and timely for each patient. May the Lord grant you favor with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and owners, and help you to perform with poise, self assurance, assertiveness, empathy and professionalism unto Him. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, and we ask that your work would show forth Christ.

We lift up the grieving family you mentioned and ask the Father of mercies and God of all comfort to grant them strength, unity, comfort and peace in their pain, that His love would cover and overcome all. We pray He will keep you and all involved in your travels, for He will keep your going out and your coming in, Psalm 121:8, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1.

We continue to lift your adult children before the throne of grace. We ask for favor, protection in times of danger, and that the Lord would close doors that lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections. For your daughter we pray for healing in body and heart, for help in her work and schooling, and for both your daughter and son that they would see themselves as God sees them, fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and as His beloved children. We pray for your daughter's marriage, that God would be glorified in it as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and that her husband would grow in understanding, patience and love, loving her as Christ loved the church, Ephesians 5:25, and that she would be respected and cherished just as she is. Grant you both wisdom and opportunity to support and help them in a godly way, and if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.

We pray with you for healing of hearts and broken relationships, that you would love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, Mark 12:30, and that you would be empowered to love one another deeply. We ask the Lord to increase the fruit of the Spirit in your home, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self control, Galatians 5:22-23.

We ask for deliverance from all evil and for His hedge of protection and favor to surround you all. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We pray for safe travel and for His promises to be your confidence, and we rejoice that He who sits on the throne says, Behold, I am making all things new, Revelation 21:5.

Father, we give You all glory and praise and credit, and we ask all these things in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Amen.

We hear how much you want these next two days to be marked by real care for people, not just getting through tasks. The way you asked for rapport and insight, for the right words at the right moment and for nothing to be forgotten, tells us you carry this work with a tender and responsible heart.

We are praying with you for that steadiness you described, poise and empathy together, professionalism with kindness. Our adequacy really does come from God, and it is good to lean on Him moment by moment when the needs feel larger than our own strength.

For these next days, it may help to pause for a brief, quiet prayer before you walk into each room or meeting, asking the Lord to help you listen well and respond with His love. A small note with names and one line about what each person needs can also help you stay present and keep track when the day is full.

We are also lifting the grieving family you mentioned, your travels, and your adult children. We pray for your daughter's health and work and schooling, for understanding and patience in her marriage, and for wisdom for you to know when and how to support them best.

Father, we bring this dear one before You and ask for Your wisdom, favor and protection over every interaction in these next two days. Cover patients, families and colleagues with Your mercy and peace, strengthen the grieving, guard all who travel, and watch over this family. Guide them to the good doors You have for them and keep them from harm, and let Your love be seen in their home. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is well that you begin where all true service must begin, with the confession that our adequacy is from God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, and therefore we may come boldly and humbly at once to His throne to ask for what we cannot supply.

We join you in asking the Lord to grant you wisdom and insight for the work of these next two days. May He give you rapport and favour with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and all whom you meet, and grant that nothing needful shall be forgotten. As you have asked, may your work reflect His agape love and mercy, and may He grant successful interventions and prepared hearts. We pray that He will help you to perform your duties with poise, self assurance, empathy and professionalism, not in the strength of the flesh but in the power which He supplies, for when He turns in a way of grace to His people He comes most heartily and richly to display His favour and love toward the objects of His choice.

We bring before the Lord the patients committed to your care this day, that they may receive the best interventions to help them and that encouraging and needed words may be spoken to them in season. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His grace can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We ask that this healing virtue may flow to those who suffer, and to the grieving family of whom you speak, that the Lord Himself with bands of grace would bind up their wounds and heal their broken hearts, granting them strength, unity, comfort and peace in their pain. It is not human eloquence but the still small voice of God which confers the peace which passes all understanding, and we pray that they may know His covering love overcoming all.

We lift up your travels and the protection of all who journey with you, pleading His promises in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, that He who keeps Israel will keep your going out and coming in, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and faithful is the Lord who shall establish you and keep you from evil. May He surround you with His hedge of protection and favour.

We remember your adult children before the Lord, asking that they may be favoured, protected and kept in times of danger. For your daughter we pray especially, that the Lord would heal her, help her in her work and schooling, and grant that both she and your son may see themselves as He sees them, beloved and made in His image, redeemed by Christ. We pray for her marriage, that the Lord would work in it for good, making her husband understanding and patient, and knitting them together in that lifelong covenant which God has ordained for one man and one woman. May He give you wisdom to know where and how to support and help, to close the doors that lead to harm and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections.

We ask also that the Lord would heal hearts and broken relationships in your home and circle, and increase the fruit of the Spirit among you, that you may love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and soul and strength, and be empowered to love one another. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, pardon and healing are found together, and the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. May He forgive, heal and restore, till His salvation shall perfectly heal and make whole.

May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord, who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our great Physician, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
