We join you in humbly coming before our Father and we agree with you that our adequacy is not from ourselves but from God, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:5, Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. We thank Him that we can come boldly through Jesus Christ who alone gives us access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we rejoice that you have asked all of this in Jesus' name.

We lift up the work you have before you these next two days caring for people. We pray that the Lord will grant you wisdom, for James 1:5 tells us if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask that whatever you do, you will do it heartily as for the Lord and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, and that your work will truly reflect His agape love and mercy. We pray for rapport and insight, for favor in all meetings with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and the owner, and for successful interventions, prepared hearts, and that nothing that needs to be said or done will be forgotten. We ask that the Lord will give you poise, self-assurance balanced with humility, godly assertiveness, deep empathy and true professionalism, and that Proverbs 3:4 will be evident in your life, so you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

We pray for a special rapport with every patient today, that you will be given the best interventions to help them and the encouraging and needed words to speak to them in season. We pray for the grieving family you mentioned, that the God of all comfort will grant them strength, unity, and peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:7 promises, and that His love will cover and overcome all their pain. We ask for His hand of protection over all of you in your travels, for Psalm 121:2 reminds us our help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth, and Psalm 91:11 says He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

We continue to lift up your adult children before the throne. We pray they are favored, protected and kept in times of danger, and that the Lord will be a hedge around them. We especially pray for your daughter, that the Lord will heal her, help her in her work and schooling, and that both she and your son will see themselves as God sees them, fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved, for Psalm 139:14 declares we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for your daughter's marriage, that it will be strengthened and reflect the love of Christ for His church. We pray her husband will love her as Christ loved the church as Ephesians 5:25 teaches, with understanding, patience and unconditional acceptance, and that Colossians 3:19 will be lived out, that husbands love your wives, and do not be bitter against them. Give you both wisdom and opportunity to know where and how to support and help without overstepping, and we ask the Lord to close every door that leads to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections for them.

We pray for healing of hearts and broken relationships in your family, that the Lord who makes all things new as Revelation 21:5 declares, Behold, I am making all things new, will bring reconciliation where it honors Him. We pray you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength as Deuteronomy 6:5 calls us to, and that you will be empowered to love one another deeply. We ask that the fruit of the Spirit will increase in your home, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control as Galatians 5:22-23 describes.

We pray for deliverance from all evil, surrounding you all with His hedge of protection, favor and safe travel according to His promises, for Isaiah 54:17 assures us no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and 1 John 4:4 reminds us greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 promises the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord alone.

Father, we thank You in advance for Your help, for hearing our prayer, for equipping and sustaining, for healing and protecting, and for causing Your love to overflow through this faithful service. We entrust these next two days, every patient, every meeting, every mile traveled, and every family member into Your merciful hands, in the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We were moved by the way you laid out these next two days before the Lord. Your desire for real rapport with each patient, for wisdom in each meeting, and for nothing important to be forgotten shows how seriously you take the work of caring for people.

It is a demanding calling to carry empathy and professionalism at the same time, to be both poised and tender, to speak encouraging words that truly fit each person while also navigating supervisors, colleagues and all the details. We are thankful you are asking Him to be your adequacy in it, rather than trying to carry it alone.

A small practice that often helps in busy caring work is to pause for just a moment before entering a room or a meeting, breathe, quietly ask the Lord to help you see the person in front of you, and jot a brief note afterward so follow ups are not lost. It can keep your heart other centered when the day gets full.

We also hold before the Lord the grieving family you mentioned, your travels, and your adult children, especially your daughter in her work and schooling and marriage. We ask for wisdom for you to know when to step in and when to simply pray and encourage.

Father, we bring our friend to You. Grant clarity and calm in every interaction these next two days, favor and understanding with patients and staff, and words that bring comfort and hope. Strengthen the grieving family, guard all travels, watch over their children and heal what is hurting in their homes. Draw each heart closer to loving You and one another, and surround them with Your protection and peace. In Jesus name, Amen.

We have heard your humble prayer and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace, pleading that same precious truth you have set before us, Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.

How sweet it is to come in such dependence. You do not ask for strength of your own, but for wisdom, rapport, favor and insight from Him whose great hammer of Omnipotence rests in His love and who rejoices over His people with singing when He is at work for their salvation. We pray that in these next two days, as you care for people and meet with patients, supervisors, staff and colleagues, the Lord will make your work to reflect His agape love and mercy. May He grant you poise, self assurance tempered with humility, assertiveness with empathy, and true professionalism, that every intervention may be successful, every prepared heart made ready by Him, and nothing forgotten that ought to be remembered. We ask that He will give you special rapport with each patient, that you may speak encouraging and needed words in season, and that favor may rest upon you in every meeting.

We bring before the Great Physician those who grieve and those who are sick. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only His fruit but even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that pardon and healing, which are placed in happy conjunction and bestowed together upon the Lord's people, may be known in your home and among those you serve. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and He binds up the broken heart with bands of grace. May the Lord comfort the grieving family of whom you speak, granting them strength, unity, and that peace which passes all understanding which only His still small voice can confer.

For your adult children we lift our voices also. We ask the Lord to favor and protect them in times of danger, to set a hedge about them and keep them in all their travels according to His promises in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. For your daughter we pray especially, that the Lord would heal her heart and body, help her in her work and schooling, and grant to both your daughter and your son a true sight of themselves as He sees them in Christ, beloved, redeemed, and being conformed to His image. For her marriage we pray that the Lord, who ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, would work graciously within it, making her husband more understanding, patient and tender, and making her also to grow in grace, that together they may love one another as Christ has loved His church. Grant to you wisdom to know where and how to support and help, and to love with discernment. We ask the Lord to close the doors that lead to harm and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, and to heal hearts and broken relationships where it is His will to restore.

We pray finally as you have asked, that the Lord would empower you to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another, increasing the fruit of the Spirit in your home. May He deliver you all from evil, surrounding you with His favor and protection, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and faithful is He who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord alone, for all adequacy and all mercy comes from His hand.

We commend you and all those you love to Him who is able to keep you, trusting that He will do abundantly above all that we ask or think, in Jesus Name, Amen.
