Your humble dependence on the Lord as expressed in 2 Corinthians 3:5 is the right place to begin, that our adequacy is not from ourselves but from God. As you step into caring for people, that truth will steady you. You are asking Him to be your sufficiency for every conversation, every intervention, and every relationship entrusted to you.

Scripture presents wisdom as calling out openly to all who will listen, personified as a voice inviting us to come and learn. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek wisdom is in reality to seek Him. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and wisdom itself is described as the principal thing, more valuable than rubies or gold, and nothing we desire can compare with it. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom gives us understanding for how to live and how to love others well. It is better to choose wisdom, for wisdom preserves and keeps those who love her, and wisdom gives life to those who have it.

I pray that the Lord will pour out that wisdom upon you for this work. May He grant you clear insight with each person, especially the new client, and give you rapport that is genuine and gracious. May your work reflect His agape love and mercy, with words that encourage and interventions that truly help, and may nothing needful be forgotten. Ask Him for poise, empathy, professionalism and the right measure of confidence and assertiveness that comes from knowing He is your adequacy. Pray for favor not as something to gain for yourself, but as an open door to serve well with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and those in authority.

There is a wisdom that is earthly and leads to strife and envy, and there is a wisdom from above that is pure, peaceable and fruitful. The wisdom from above will show itself in your life by purity, humility and peace. The wisdom of this world, apart from God, is shown to be foolish, but the wisdom God gives leads to life and steadies us. As you ask for prepared hearts in those you serve, trust that God is able to work in them even as He works in you.

I join you in lifting up the grieving family, that God would grant strength, unity, comfort and peace in their pain, and that His love would cover them. I pray for your travels and for the protection of all of you, and for your adult children, that the Lord would keep them, favor them and guard them in times of danger. For your daughter, I pray for healing, for help in her work and schooling, and that both she and your son would see themselves as God sees them, valued and loved in Christ. For her marriage, I pray that God would work with grace, that her husband would grow in understanding, patience and accepting love, and that you would be given wisdom to know how and when to support and help. May the Lord close doors that would lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian fellowship. May He heal hearts and broken relationships.

May the Lord deliver you all from evil and surround you with His hedge of protection, according to His promises that He is our refuge and keeper, that no weapon formed against His people shall finally prevail, that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that He is faithful to guard you, and that He is making all things new. May you be empowered to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another out of the abundance He supplies. May all glory and praise be given to Him as you trust Him to do this work, in Jesus name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been continuing to lift you up before the Father concerning the work you brought before us for those two days caring for people. We prayed for rapport and insight with your new client, that your work would reflect His Agape Love and Mercy, and that you would be granted wisdom, rapport and favor in all meetings. We asked for successful interventions, for prepared hearts and that nothing would be forgotten, and for special rapport with all patients so that they would receive the best interventions and the encouraging and needed words to be spoken to them. We prayed for favor with patients, supervisors, all staff, colleagues and the owner, and that you would be able to perform with poise, self assurance, assertiveness, empathy and professionalism.

We also stood in agreement for the grieving family you mentioned, that they would be granted strength, unity, comfort and peace in their pain and that His Love would cover and overcome all, and for protection in travels. We brought your adult children before the Lord that they would be favored and protected in times of danger, and especially for your daughter for healing, for help in her work and schooling, that she and your son would see themselves as He sees them, and for her marriage that her husband would be understanding and patient and accept her just as she is. We asked for wisdom and opportunity for you to know where you can support and help, that the Lord would close doors that lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, and for healing of hearts and broken relationships. We joined you in asking to love Him with heart, mind, soul and strength and to be empowered to love one another, and for deliverance from all evil and His hedge of protection, favor and safe travel according to His promises. We take comfort with you that our adequacy is from God as it says in 2 Cor 3:5.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how the Lord worked in these meetings, with your clients and patients, and in your family. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will continue to grant you wisdom and fill your work with His love and mercy and that His peace and protection will rest on you and your family as you care for others. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
