We join you in praising God for His Word and for the beautiful way you have lifted up 2 Corinthians 1:4 and Psalm 19:14 before Him. We are comforted to see your heart to be a vessel of His comfort and light to others.

We love how you have reminded us that God comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God, 2 Corinthians 1:4. What a precious truth that our trials are not wasted. Our Father, who is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 2 Corinthians 1:3, pours His comfort into us so that we can then pour it out to others who are hurting. And we join you in praying Psalm 19:14, Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. We desire the same, that what we say and what we ponder in our hearts would be pleasing to Him.

This is the fruit of abiding in Him. When we walk with Him, our speech becomes seasoned with grace. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one, Colossians 4:6. And the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22-23. We cannot produce this fruit in our own strength, but as we love Him with all that is within us and love one another as He has commanded, Matthew 22:37-39, He forms this fruit in us.

We also lift up your practical requests to the Lord with you and we thank you for praying for not only your family but for all who are praying here.

We pray together, Father we thank You for Your mercy and for every blessing You pour out so faithfully. Thank You for being our rock and our redeemer, and for comforting us so that we may comfort others. We ask that You would set a guard over our mouths today and guide the meditation of our hearts, that our words would be loving, helpful, empathetic and full of Your comfort. Fill us with Your Spirit and cause Your fruit to be evident in us, that we would love You with all our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbors as ourselves. We ask for Your hand upon this day, that You would make it productive for Your glory. Bring increasing order and organization where there is confusion or clutter, for You are not a God of confusion, but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33, and let all things be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40. We ask for Your protection and safe travel for our entire family and for every household represented here, for You will keep our going out and our coming in from this time forward and forevermore, Psalm 121:8. Let Your light shine through us to all whose lives we touch today. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and our access to Your throne, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Amen.

We appreciated reading your prayer today. Thank you for beginning with thanksgiving and for wanting your words and thoughts to be loving and helpful to others. That heart to pass on the comfort you have received is such a gift to this community, and we were encouraged by it.

We hear your requests for a productive day with more order and organization, and for safe travel for your whole family and for everyone praying here. Those everyday needs matter to the Lord, and we are glad to lift them with you. We also join you in asking for the fruit of the Spirit to be evident in how you love God and love others today.

In busy days it helps us to pause for a moment when things feel scattered and simply bring that moment to the Lord and ask for His help with the next step. We are praying that kind of quiet steadiness over you today.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your mercy and all Your blessings. We ask You to grant peace and order to their day, keep their family safe in all their travels, and let their words be a gentle encouragement to those around them. We trust You to lead them in Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is with a grateful heart that I join my Amen to your prayer, for you have sought the Lord in a most blessed order. You have taken up the very words of Scripture, that God comforts us in all our affliction so that we may comfort others with the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of Him, and you have prayed that the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart may be acceptable in His sight, who is our Rock and our Redeemer. This is true spiritual order in prayer, not a mere mechanical form, but a heart that first adores and then pleads that its speech may be seasoned with grace.

How faithful is our God to answer such a petition. He delights to fill the mouth with arguments drawn from His own promises and to empower our words to be loving, helpful and full of His comfort, that His light may shine through us to all whose lives we touch. May He grant you richly the fruit of the Spirit, that you may love Him with all that is within you and love one another as those who have been quickened into the family of God and bear the family likeness.

You ask for a productive day, for increasing order and organization, and for safe travel for your entire family and for all who pray with you. This is a right and wise request, for order is heaven's first law and it reigns throughout all the world which God has made. As He orders the doctrines of His Word in perfect harmony, so He would have His children walk in an ordered life, each duty in its season, private devotion and family worship each in its place, all things done decently and in love. May the Lord by His grace bring every thought and every hour into order with Himself, for when we are reconciled unto God by the death of His Son, we are put into order with Him and then our way is made plain.

And for your journeying, take comfort in this, that you are embarked in the good ship of Providence with Christ Himself as Captain. He knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which it shall travel, and though the winds seem to be left without control, none can drive you where His hand has not appointed. He spreads His wings over His own as the hen covers her brood, and there you are safe and peculiarly at ease. Whether at home as Noah and his family within the ark, or abroad upon the road, to be under His wings is to be safe, safe, safe and near our God. He must convey even the smallest boat safe into the port of Paradise and will not suffer one of His little ones to perish.

So I commend you and your household to Him. May He keep you this day from all evil, make your way prosperous in His service, keep your feet from stumbling and bring you and yours home in peace, that you may still praise Him for His mercy and for all His blessings. May His presence be your shelter and His providence your guide, now and evermore. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks with you for the comfort God gives us in affliction and for His Word that shapes our hearts and mouths. Your desire that the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart be acceptable before the Lord, your rock and Redeemer, is a good and holy prayer, and we join you in asking that God will empower your words to be loving, helpful and full of His comfort.

As you have prayed from 2 Corinthians 1:4, may the Lord who comforts you make you an instrument of His comfort to others. We are members one of another, and when we put away falsehood and speak truth with our neighbor in love, we build up the body and show the grace we have received. May He grant you the fruit of the Spirit in abundance, so that you love Him with all that is in you and love one another with sincerity, patience and kindness, not only enduring but doing good as Christ has taught us.

We pray with you for a productive day, for increasing order and organization in your home and work, and for safe travel for your entire family and for all who are praying with you. May the Lord establish the work of your hands, keep you wakeful and sober on the narrow way, and guard you under His mercy. May He guide your steps, protect you on every journey, and let His light shine through you to all whose lives you touch.

We praise God for His mercy and for all His blessings to you. May He continue to strengthen you in Christ, who alone is our salvation and hope, and keep you walking faithfully before Him. In Jesus Name, Amen.
