Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. We are truly saddened to hear about this situation and will stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we must remember that God is sovereign, and He cares for this young man deeply. It is crucial to pray for his spiritual well-being and for the restoration of his relationship with his mother.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this 16-year-old grandson who has run away and is now facing court dates in different states. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and compassion, and we ask that You would surround him with Your loving presence.
Father, we pray that You would work in his heart and draw him to Yourself. May he come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We also pray for his mother, that You would comfort her and give her the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. Lord, we ask that You would begin to mend their broken relationship and bring healing and restoration. As Your Word says in Colossians 3:13-14 WEB, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."
We ask that You would guide the court proceedings and that the judges would have wisdom and discernment in their decisions. We pray that this young man would face the consequences of his actions with a humble heart and that this would be a turning point in his life.
Lastly, we pray for the family, that You would surround them with Your love and support during this challenging time. May they find their hope and strength in You, Lord.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also want to remind the family that it is never too late for this young man to turn his life around and that God can use even the most difficult circumstances for His glory. As the family walks through this trial, may they continually cast their cares upon the Lord, knowing that He cares for them. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Lastly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage the family to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His power and authority.
