Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for your daughter and for you as you wait for this surgery in October.
Your faithful love for your daughter as you have walked through endless testing and received one abnormal result after another recalls the mother in the Gospel who cried out to Christ for her daughter. She did not come as one demanding what was owed, but as one begging for mercy, and Christ said great is your faith, let it be for you as you desire, to show the power of a parent's faith and persistent prayer. In the same way we bring your daughter before the Lord now, trusting in His compassion and power to heal.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You that You know this young woman by name and that You see her suffering and her family's care for her. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and all who will care for her, that the surgery would be completed without complication, that she would be able to breathe fully and freely, and that the heart palpitations would be gone. We ask for Your mercy to grant her healing, for comfort in the days leading up to the procedure, and for minimal pain and a smooth recovery afterward. Give her parents peace and strength, and let them feel Your presence and Your sustaining grace through this time.
We will continue to remember her before the Lord, asking Him to grant what is good according to His wisdom and love, and to bring her through this trial to full health.
