12 Year Marriage In Serious Trouble!

Hello,

My beloved wife 'Faith Flores' filed for divorce today to end our marriage of 12 years. We have 2 beautiful kids and we are both born-again Christians who love the Lord.

We have had our arguments like normal couples do, and we have never committed adultery or been physically abusive to each other or the kids. We have been verbally abusive to each other which is why I believe she has left me and is now trying to divorce me. I am deeply sorry for my hurtful words to her and I have begged her forgiveness… she has refused to forgive me to this point.

I love her and the kids so much and I cannot understand why she will not work on this with me. She was usually the one who loved to go to counseling but now has refused Godly counsel despite my desperate pleas.

Please pray earnestly for God to do a miracle and heal our marriage!

She has scheduled to finalize the divorce the last week of the year, so this is extremely urgent.

Lord I pray that will be done. i pray that you reveal the truth in the open and may you restore this marrige. Lord I pray that this is a wake-up call for both of these children of yours. May they realize that you need to be the center of their marriage and you can do all things. Please don't allow the enemy to destroy this marriage, they needs you and each other. Ed, I am in the exact same situation only with a 23 year marriage, and my husband will not go to counseling either. I love him and my children more than anything, and I am completely devastated, as I know you are as well.

Dear Lord, please help this man and woman resolve their differences, and keep their family together, give them the wisdom to figure out their issues and reconcile. In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.

Status update: Thank you for your prayers! My wife has stopped the divorce process and we are back in counseling (we have a session tomorrow 1/27 @ 5pm) so please pray for further restoration thru counseling. God is good and i am encouraged now... i seriously thought our marriage was over when i initially put in my first prayer request but God is good and so are you kind people who prayed for us, so thank you all and God Bless you! i will keep posting updates.....

Open the eyes of her heart Lord and let her know its a massive sin to divorce especially when adultery is not involved.
