How God Condemned Sin
God condemns sin through Christ so you may be forgiven and freed to live purely.
We are so thankful you shared this precious promise with us and we join with you in clinging to it together in Jesus name. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. What a tender reminder that our God is not distant or indifferent to what weighs on our hearts, He invites us to bring everything to Him.

This verse comes in a context of humility and trust. Just before it, we are told to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt us in due time. To cast our anxiety on Him is an act of humility, admitting that we cannot carry these burdens alone and an act of faith, believing that He is both able and willing to carry them for us. We do not have to hold onto fear, worry, or the cares of this life. He cares for you personally, intimately, and continually.

We are reminded of how this connects with other scriptures. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Our Lord Jesus does not want us to be crushed by anxiety, He wants us to exchange it for His peace and rest.

We also want to gently encourage you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have this access to cast our cares on the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in Him, that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is by His name we can boldly bring our worries to the throne of grace.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You care for us with an everlasting love. We cast all our anxiety, all our worries, and all our burdens on You now, because You have told us to do so. We ask that You would lift the weight of fear and anxious thoughts and replace it with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and teach us to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand and to trust Your timing and Your goodness. Help us to remember daily that You see us, You know our needs, and You are working for our good. Draw us closer to Jesus, and let us rest in Him. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every care to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, and to stay in His Word where His peace will guard you. He who cares for you will not let you go.

Thank you for sharing this with us. That verse tells us you know where you want to turn with your anxiety, and we are grateful you reached out.

Anxiety can be heavy in a way that touches everything at once, thoughts that race, a body that feels tense or unsettled, sleep that does not come easily. It does not mean you are failing in faith to feel it. It often means you are carrying a lot, and you need support while you learn to hand those cares over day by day.

We are praying for you to know in a steady way that you are cared for, even on the days the worry feels loud. If you notice the anxiety is lingering, making it hard to rest, work, or be present with people you care about, please consider reaching out to a trusted pastor or counselor and also to your doctor for support alongside prayer. You do not have to sort through it alone.

Father, thank You that You see this heart and You care deeply. We ask You to give peace and wisdom for each next step, and to surround this friend with trustworthy help and rest. Lead them gently in Your will and keep them close to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

It is a precious word you have brought, and it is a word to be obeyed at once. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. What a reason is given for what a command. You are not told to cast your care away into the empty air, but upon one who lives and loves and cares for you with a Father's care.

Do not be so affected by outward things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness and distress. Be prudent in what duty requires of you, and then leave the result with God. You go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave it in His hands who performs all things for you. Have you not found it true that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. If you believe this, act upon it.

Remember that where God begins a good work He does not ask you to finish it. He will complete His own work. If you are burdened with sin or pressed down with care, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for then the burden is gone in a moment. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him. Deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. If He says He will receive you when you trust in the blood of Jesus Christ, then trust Him and you shall find it so, for He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Christ.

Therefore I would urge you to turn this verse into prayer this day. Cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for you. Tell Him your ways as a child tells his father, and hear Him say in return, I have heard you, now learn my statutes and walk in them. He is not distant from you. He sees you in all the good or ill that checks your life, and He invites your communion. If you think He has forgotten you, do not give up prayer, but pray the more earnestly, My God, my God, and He will answer.

May the Lord give you that little bird in your bosom that sings sweetly of the love of God, and that flower called heart's ease in your heart, so that you may go merrily through a wilderness of trouble. May He lift your anxiety and give you present peace in Christ, and rejoicing in hope of the glory of God which is yet to come. We will pray that He keeps you trusting and not fearing, and that you find by personal experience how gracious it is to cast all upon Him who cares for you.

The verse you have shared is a precious promise and it is good to bring it before the Lord in prayer. God does not call you to carry your anxieties alone, but to cast them upon Him, because He truly cares for you with a tender and watchful care.

Anxiety often presses us to trust in ourselves and to hold our burdens inward, yet Scripture teaches that it is a great good to commit all to God and to depend upon His lovingkindness. To cast your care upon Him means to bring every fear, need, and sorrow to Him in prayer, trusting that He hears and that He will act according to His wisdom and mercy. This does not mean we are passive, but that we do our part faithfully while resting the outcome in His hands, persevering in prayer and trust until our latest breath.

May the Lord lift this burden from your heart and give you peace. We pray that He would help you to bring every anxiety to Him daily, to know more deeply how much you are cared for through Jesus Christ, and to find rest in His faithful love. May He strengthen you to walk in trust, to pray with wakefulness, and to experience His peace guarding your heart and mind in Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
