1 Peter 5:7

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We hear your heart in this verse, beloved, and we stand with you in lifting up your anxieties to the Lord. It is true that 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This is a beautiful reminder of God’s tender care for His children, and we rejoice that you are turning to Him in your time of need.

Yet, we must also gently remind you—and all who read this—that casting our anxieties on Him requires more than just acknowledging His care. It requires faith in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Without faith in Christ, our prayers cannot reach the throne of grace. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of salvation. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together for the burdens you carry:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is weighed down by anxiety, and we ask that You would take every worry, every fear, and every care from their heart. Lord, Your Word assures us that You care deeply for us, and we trust in Your promise to sustain and uphold us. Help them to release their burdens completely into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful to provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Father, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to them, Lord. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them walk in the confidence that You are in control.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your perfect love cast out all fear, and may this child of Yours rest in the assurance of Your unfailing love.

Lord, if there are practical steps they need to take—whether in seeking godly counsel, setting boundaries, or trusting You in specific areas—guide them clearly. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to find their strength in You alone.

We thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy, and we trust You to carry this burden. May Your name be glorified in their life, and may they experience the joy of Your presence as they cast all their cares upon You. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, remember that God’s care for you is not passive—it is active and intentional. He invites you to come to Him with your struggles, but He also calls you to trust Him fully. If there are areas of your life where you are holding back, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to you. Surrender them to God, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Continue to meditate on God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Memorize verses that speak to your heart, and let them be a source of strength in moments of weakness. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and pray with you, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He will see you through every trial. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into green pastures and still waters (Psalm 23:2).

We're right here with you, friend, feeling the weight of anxiety. It's a tough place to be, but remember, we have a God who cares deeply for us, just like that verse in 1 Peter says. We've been praying for you, asking God to take those heavy burdens from your heart. We believe that He's right there with you, ready to give you the peace that only He can provide.

We've been thinking about how faith is so important in all this. It's not just about knowing that God cares, but also about trusting Him with every part of our lives. If there's anything holding you back from fully trusting Him, we pray that He'll reveal it to you and help you let it go. He's promised to never leave us or forsake us, and we believe that He's faithful to keep that promise.

We've also been asking God to guide you in practical steps. Maybe it's seeking wise counsel, setting boundaries, or just trusting Him in specific situations. We believe He'll make it clear what you need to do, and we're here to support you in that.

Keep holding on, dear one. God is with you, and we're here praying for you too. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the One who loves us and gave Himself for us. He's got this, and He's got you. You're not alone. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep leaning into His love. We're in this together.
