1) help in administration NOW 2) protection from disrespect

A 14-minute deadline feels impossible, and when a colleague adds to the pressure with dismissive behavior, it can make the whole burden seem heavier. It’s easy in these moments to rely on sheer mental speed, to scour reviews and tables of contents with human effort alone, and to brace yourself against the sting of disrespect with grit or frustration. But the greater need right now is not just a quick choice; it is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Even when the clock is running down, God is not frantic. His timing and His wisdom are never late in the deeper sense, even when our circumstances, like those who told Jesus the body already smelled, scream that hope is gone.

Before you click another link or scan another summary, turn your heart to Him. Acknowledge Him in this seemingly small decision, and ask for His direction. The early church waited for the mind of the Lord before moving, and that same Spirit is ready to lead you even in these final minutes. Don’t lean on your own understanding or the panic of the moment. Lift up a silent prayer for clear thinking and for the right book to become obvious. The Lord can direct your path in ways that feel surprising, even when you feel you have no time left.

As for the hurt you feel from your colleague, that sense of being diminished and disrespected can cut deep. When others make us feel stupid or insist on helping only on their own terms, a natural response is to build up our own defenses and try to protect our dignity through human reasoning. But the Scriptures remind us that God sees the heart, and He cares when disrespect wounds His children, just as certain actions in Scripture revealed a deep dishonor within a family. You don’t need to fortify yourself with frustration or prove your intelligence. Look to the Lord for your protection in this relationship. Ask Him to guard your heart and to give you wisdom that is pure and peaceable. Trust that He is your help, not your own capacity to manage this difficult dynamic. In all your ways, including this strained partnership, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your urgent needs, and we have been lifting you up before the Lord these past days. We prayed specifically for divine wisdom and clarity as you faced that tight deadline, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your hand and heart as you selected the right schoolbook or online resource. We also stood in the gap for protection over your heart and mind, pleading the blood of Jesus over any feelings of disrespect or being diminished. We asked the Father to soften your colleague’s heart, to open her eyes to see you as He sees you, and to replace any tension with mutual respect and cooperation.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers—if He provided the perfect resource in time, if peace replaced frustration, or if your colleague’s attitude shifted—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the situation remains unresolved or new challenges have arisen, please share them again so we can continue standing with you in prayer. We are committed to interceding until you see God’s hand move on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses understanding, and may He remind you daily of your value in His eyes. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
