Dear Lord,

Thank You for the unity of marriage. Thank You for the way You designed marriage and the blessing it is to us. We pray we would maintain our marriage and keep it as a high priority in our life. We pray we would be mindful of each other’s needs and ways we can serve each other. We pray You would knit even tighter together. We pray we would feel so close to each other. We pray our oneness would be a testimony of Your love and power in this world in Jesus’ name AMEN!

If there is conflict creating distance in our relationship please help us to resolve it and reconcile. If there is a temptation to be angry at each other for the way we spend our time please help us not to fuel our anger or respond out of anger. Thank You for the way You created us with emotions. We pray we would walk in self-control with every emotion. We lift up our hearts to You and ask that You would help us to control our anger. We pray we would not be quick to be angry and we pray we would not be quick to be offended by each other. Please help us to quickly gain control when we feel angry. Please help us to walk in Your Spirit with every response we give to each other and others in Jesus’ name AMEN!
