Thank you for today. Thank you for all that You have blessed us with. We love each other and we are so grateful for the gift of marriage. We pray that we would continually find new ways to love each other. We pray that we as a couple would walk out Your calling in our life to love not only each other, but also our brothers and sisters in Christ. We pray that we would take Your words seriously when You ask us to have a debt of love to one another.

Thank you for Your love and kindness. Lord, we give You our heart and our desires. We pray that we will forever be yielded to You. We don’t want to lean on our own understanding in this world. Dear Lord,

We know there will always be trials in our lives and marriage, but we get frustrated when there are things happening outside of our control. Lord, help us to trust in You with those things. Help us to lean on Your understanding instead of our own. Give us Your peace when these trials make us feel crazy and angry. You are still on the throne and the struggles in this life are nothing to be compared to the coming glory when Your son returns.

Dear Lord,

Thank you so much for Your Word. You have taught us so much about righteousness. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would transform our character so that we will be Holy like Jesus! We pray for time to devote to reading Your Word daily, to meditate on it and to memorize it. We desire to seek after You Lord, that You would fill us with Your peace and strength. We know we need to lean on You more. Help us! Help us to trust in You. We are confident that as we seek godliness we will become...

 

Dear Lord,

It is hard being patient. It is hard waiting to hear Your voice. It is hard waiting for Your will to be done. But You have called us to wait on You, and by doing so our strength will be renewed. We will learn to trust You and our faith will grow. Lord, help us to wait on You instead of rushing into things without You. We want You in everything we do. We want to be in Your will in every decision we make. You are our Lord and King.

We are so blessed! Thank you for one another. Although we have a great marriage, we would both agree that we need more romance in our marriage. So we ask You for inspiration. Please fill our minds with creative ways to romance each other, to make special moments together, and to bless each other. Help us to be aware of each other’s needs and desires, and aware of how we can fulfill them. We pray for more romance in our marriage.

I pray for my marriage. I pray specifically for my sex life. I ask that you would help me to improve sexual intimacy in my marriage. I am sure there is something I can do to help make it better. Sometimes, I just want my spouse to do everything or make the changes in our relationship, but I am aware that I have responsibilities too.
