Will You show us how to receive healing after conflict in our marriage? Will You teach us how to apply Your wisdom and comfort to one another in tangible ways? Reveal to us the value of confession and being held accountable to each other. Lord, help us to be transparent with one another and to confess what we are wrestling with so that we can support each other through the process of reconciliation. Give us the courage to hold up the shield of faith while praying for one another...

 

Dear Lord,

Thank You for redemption! Thank You for setting us free from the bondage of sin and giving us true victory. Sometimes we get discouraged, believing we will never be able to change. Sometimes we sin, causing a great amount of pain in our marriage. Please remove the feelings of failure and shame that plague us, hindering us from maturing. Help us to receive Your forgiveness and be willing to forgive one another when we transgress. Create in us a steadfast faith! Lord, please help...

 

Dear Lord,

Make us and our marriage into remarkable masterpieces. Expand our faith, anchor our hope, and deepen our love. Increase our desire to read and understand the Bible. As we prioritize reading Scripture, let it comfort us, teach us, and guide us. Lord, help us to lay aside any selfish thoughts or selfish ways, while preserving truth in our hearts so that we continue to experience growth.

Please suit us up in Your armor—with the helmet of salvation to guard our minds. When we’re cycling through anxious thoughts, please show us how to stop immediately, repent of our worry, and submit to You in prayer.
