Good morning all. Today I am going to share different readings and prayers that have help me through my stand. The most important thing that has helped me is getting into an up close and personal relationship with God. That is first and foremost. Second is learning his word so that when the enemy come I can resist him because I know the word and have the truth on my side. The enemy gets sly. I am learning not to battle the enemy but to resist him. Because the more you battle him the closer he gets to you and the better he gets to know you. So resisting him is the key. Proverbs 28:13 "Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." This is perhaps one of the hardest things we have to deal with on our road to marriage restoration. There are some things I do not pretend to understand about this world. Like why is there suffering and pain??? why are little children allowed to suffer and be harmed. They are the most innocent.... That question haunts me often. I know someday God will let us know the answers. But for now all I can come up with is that we live in a sinful world with pain and torment so we will all suffer in some way. We suffer b/c Satan and his demons roam around seeking whom they may devour.... We cannot always protect our children from the world, but I have learned we need to prepare them to live in it. I don’t know about the rest of you all but I am finding that almost every topic I write about I have to put in practice because at some point I come face to face with it.
