The Prayer of Serenity...to share from this side of the 'glass'.

My life was like a sail boat going far away for no reason at all. Sailing in a sea of nothingness. An emty life that had no purpose. Till Jesus came to my room one day. He said. I have loved you with an everlasting love. What should I do for You o Lord? He said. Be an elder in the house of the Lord. The next day I woke up. Signed up to be an elder of the church. Was accepted. Beneath blue skies and sunshine. I sail on peacefully because Jesus showed me the way. Elders love Jesus because they want to serve God no matter what they have to do. If it were not for Him, we would be sailing aimlessly in this world. Thank you Jesus for giving us a goal in life. Serving You is the best thing we can do for others.

Our hearts are full of praise and honor to God because... He leadeth me, o blessed thought. O words with heavenly confort fraught. Whatever I do and wherever I be. Still Gods hand that leadeth me. I hope the Lord Jesus is leading your life through the dark and through the shining days of your life. There is nothing else more important in this life and the next one, the leadership of God in our own personal life. I want to shout out the mercies of the Lord when He lead us. I want the world to hear that Jesus is coming soon. To take us home to glory. Leading our steps toward eternity. Amen

Life is like a camera. Focus on what is important. Capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things do not work out, then take another shot with Gods help and grace you can do it. Look at the world through Jesus eyes. Smile and be nice if you are an usher in the house of the Lord. Jesus, use my mouth to bless people and pray for them. The sun will always be shining, When you greet people with a happy face. Tears of joy streaked down my cheeks, When I saw my next door neighbors coming to church. I have invited them so many times. Jesus answered all my prayers. All glory, All honor, All praise be unto Him. For answering all my prayers. Amen

Marriage is between a man and a woman. God did not intended two men to be together or two women to get married. Multiplied and replenish the earth God said. Staying together for better of for worse. In health and in illness we must stay together. Embracing souls are spiritually together. Because God intende us be like that. Love not the world nor the things of the world. If you love the world the love of the Father is not in you. Love your wife, Love your husband, Care for them. Show your children that you are the reflexion of Gods love. When happy moments come... then let us all start praising our Lord Jesus. In Him alone rest the joy of our hearts. Difficult moments in your life? Kneel down and start praising God, adoring His holy name. He will restore they joy in your heart. Quiet moments in your house? Give glory to God because He is allowing you to have time to talk to Him, read His word and just worship Him. Painful moments have arrived? Stay closer to the heart of Jesus. He will confort your soul. He will give you rest. Delighful moments with your family? Be grateful to God because He has given you the joy of having a family that loves Jesus. Only Jesus can give us strenght when we are weak. Only Him can make me stand when I have fallen down. Only Jesus makes me drawn to Him. Let us all fix our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher or our faith. Hebrews 12.2 Thou art the light of the world. That light will lead us all to heaven. Where Jesus is waiting for us. Amen

For He shall give His angels charge over thee. To keep thee in all thy ways. Psalm 91.11 God Cares. God loves. God will not allow our hearts grow cold. Love HIm with all your heart and bless His holy name. Amen

Therefore I urge my brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. Romans 12.1 Let God speak down deep in your soul. His path of wisdom will lead your way. The way to our heavenly home. Where we are going to reside forever. Where there will not be any tear to shed. Nor pain to bear. I need to listen. I need to know His will. In His word we find this. Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart. For consider what great things He hath done for you. I Sam. 12.24 Yes Lord. I am listening to Your voice today. I will do exactly what You said. Amen

Jesus will quiet them up. In the middle of the sea Jesus slept. The storms of life came around. Raging with fear we stayed. Then remembered Jesus was right there Jesus, wake up. The sea is raging against us. Please wake up. Jesus came on board. He called the storm to calm down. Immediately the storm was gone and peace came to my heart. O God, forgive us for leaving your side. Forgetting that You alone can quiet our troubled souls. We must return to You again and again. Without Jesus we can not do anything at all. Lord Jesus, show us the way in which we should go. You are the potter and we are the clay. Mold us as Thou will. Amen
