‘God has heard your prayers and knows about your gifts to the poor.’ Acts 10:4 CEV Up until this time the Gospel had been preached exclusively to the Jews. But all that was about to change: ‘One afternoon at about three o’clock, Cornelius had a vision. He saw an angel from God coming to him and calling him by name… “God has heard your prayers and knows about your gifts to the poor. Now send some men to Joppa for a man named Simon Peter.”’ (Acts 10:3–5 CEV) As a result of Cornelius’ prayers and generosity, he became the first Gentile to hear the Gospel and be saved. What a payoff! God hears the kind words you speak to others when they’re hurting. He sees your sacrificial giving when you can least afford it. By doing what you’re...

"Let Him Take You Higher! 7 Key Areas for Growth in 2017" 1. Rest & Refreshing "For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: 'So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest,'' although the works were finished from the foundation of the world… There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His." Hebrews 4:3,9-10 2017 is going to be a time for rest and refreshing in the presence of God. That is good news! God wants to take His people to another level of rest. When we rest from our own striving we enter into place of faith in the finished work of Christ. Jesus died so that we could enter into the...
"From this side of the 'glass'...It is with hope that those experiencing difficulties, come to realize and learn to accept truth, as too often the truth is often painful, but it must be confronted and dealt with. The problem appears to be just this...unwilling to change and apply spiritual principles. Many beg for a change in many things, but yet unwilling to change.... this simply does not work...believe it....experience is a great teacher... only by the 'grace' of God...it is from this side of the 'glass' to share this life's personal spiritual journey, now of two decades...Praise God! Testimony of the heart is indispensable."
A child I never new taught me a wonderful lessong in life. Love more, care for them, pray and fast for their well being for in doing so you will find yourself in. This child that i never knew cut through my hearts self inflicted blues. Jesus came to be my best friend, counselor, Prince of peace. I never knew Him, but when I found Him. I saw the light that shines through darkness. To heaven a flew in eagles wings was carried high above the sun. Leaving behind all the pain, all the sorrow. all those who tormented my soul. A true child of God is the one who loves his heavenly Father with all his heart, mind and soul. Knowing Him is finding life itself.

I will praise You, Lord my God. With all my heart will I glorify Your name forever. Psalm 86,21
On the day I turned to the Lord with all of my heart... I found true peace, true joy and happiness overflowed my soul. I belong in Your arms o Lord I said. Finally I have found a place of rest for my weary soul. My heart was filled with hope and trust for the future. This world is not my home. I am just passing through. I am stranger and pilgrim on earth. My home is in heaven where Jesus awaits for me with open arms. He will welcome me home. To be with HIm is the deepest desire of my heart. The Prince of Peace who was foretold has come to all of us. Open your heart, mind and soul.. We all belong in the arms of our loving and kind heavenly Father. Love HIm with all your heart and He will bless your life forever. Amen
Father we honor you in this place for letting a few of your believing children get together one more time. Thank you for being the God of the former and the ladder rains. You see the dryness and the pests that have crept in - to destroy us. You know the feeling of loss, you know the feeling of hurt. You promised that if we just be faithful, even when the locusts are in our lives, that you would let us eat in plenty. You promised to let us be satisfied. You see the dissatisfaction in this place. You see the unfulfilled needs and unfulfilled expectations at this altar. I pray now LORD, for total restoration. Restoration of dreams that are now cold. Restoration of relationships that are not like they used to be...
