```markdown The Bridegroom's 'I do' ❤ Matthew 24:44 Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come. World English Bible This verse needs to be taken to heart. Whether it is implying the 'end times' of this world or your personal end time, it makes no difference. Your marching order stays the same; 'Be ready for Jesus.' Matthew 25 1. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. (An inference to God's people and the wicked people) 3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: (did not have the Holy Spirit) 4. But the wise took oil in their...
Jesus, my Savior, my Lord. He came to lead us all to our heavenly home. We are not orphans, we are not left all alone to fend for ourselves. It is Jesus who will help us, protect us and at the end of our road, He will be waiting for us at the gates of heaven. Leadership is not a position. It is an action and example. Jesus show us how to live, how act and what to say. Do what Jesus did.
Physical evidence won't sway the stubborn A Pharisee named ### approached Jesus during the night and said to Him that he was certain that Jesus came from God because no other man could do the signs that Jesus did. What exactly were those signs that ### was referring to? Over centuries, time can erase some cultural practices, or at the very least, conceal some facts. That is the case with the Messianic Miracles. There were four miracles that only the coming Messiah could accomplish. The people of the period were aware of these miracles and were looking for these four signs. 1. Heal the blind (Matthew 9:27), 2. Heal the lame (Matthew 9:6), 3. Heal the leper (Matthew 8:2), 4. Heal the dead (Matthew 9:25). These four miracles are known...
```html Be Faithful as Jesus! 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil *one. * some translations omits 'one' but evil in this verse encompasses all manner of unrighteousness which would include satan. COMMENT Our Lord is faithful! Praise God. Let's examine this amazing verse. 'But the Lord is faithful,' The first part of the verse implies a qualitative and a quantitative state belonging to our Lord, that we often disregard. Since our Lord is eternal, He's forever reliable. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Forever faithful. It's not part-time like earthly trust. 'and he will strengthen you...' This phrase denotes an act of replenishing or restoring. And...
Naked I came out of my mother's womb and naked I will depart. The Lord has given and the Lord has taken all away. May the name of the Lord be praised. Job 1:21 With full appreciation I will count all the blessings the Lord has given me. No matter how small or big. I shall raise my voice to Him who is the Giver of all good gifts to those who ask. Gratitude and unconditional love for Jesus, Whose promise me to bless those who seek peace, joy and happiness. Heaven came down and glory filled my soul. When at the cross my Savior made me whole. My sins were washed away, And my night was turned to day. Heaven came down and glory filled my soul. Let us never forget what Jesus did for each one of us. Saving us, cleansing us, purifying our...
```markdown The Dowry The Lord's Parting Gift! John 14:16-17 16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. COMMENT In the above verse, our Lord is about to depart from His bride (the assembly /disciples). And similar to old wedding practices, our Lord pays a type of *Dowry before He leaves. The Dowery is a form of Security before His eventual wedding. Dowries were types of financial security to cover unforeseeable events, hardships, and children security. Dowries are not just about money...
Jesus Wants to Be More Than Just Our Savior. Jesus Wants to Be Our Lord. Psalms 139:23-24: Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Let Us All Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name work on me. Place me under Your microscope, expose and point out to me everything in me that pleases You. Expose and point out to me everything in me or in my life that offends You. God don’t let me condone or make excuses for my sins or wrongdoings. Don’t let me ignore Your still small voice or the gentle promptings of Your Holy Spirit correcting me. God always give me grace and decency to know and acknowledge my sin and wrongdoings. Search me O God...
You are a temple and you have a High-Priest. The old Covenant Jeremiah 7:9-11 9. [/B]Do you really think you can steal, murder, commit adultery, lie, and burn incense to Baal and all those other new gods of yours, 10. and then come here and stand before me in my Temple and chant, “We are safe!”—only to go right back to all those evils again? 11. Don’t you yourselves admit that this Temple, which bears my name, has become a den of thieves? Surely I see all the evil going on there. I, the LORD, have spoken! The new Covenant 1 Corinthians 3:16 “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” King James Version (KJV) COMMENT The old temple is of course a building made of stones...
