"...Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Lay Aside the Weights Sometimes it’s as though we’re carrying all these heavy bags around—a bag of guilt, another bag with all the mistakes we’ve made, then we add on a bag full of regrets. We go through life carrying around all of these bags, then we wonder why life is a struggle, why we’re tired, why we can’t accomplish a dream. It’s because you weren’t created to live with guilt, condemnation, and shame. The Scripture tells us to “lay aside the weights that can easily entangle us.” It’s time to lay aside those weights of guilt and shame and regret. It’s time to get rid of that baggage. This is a new day...
Sometimes there's a balancing act. We're told the tongue is evil, and cannot be controlled. We're also told lying is a sin, and someone who praises something someone does that they think is wrong, would they be being a "phony", which is like lying?Like,I've heard people praise others, and in their praise I don't see it matching their actions. And I may try to "ignore" it, but if they go on and on, and I know otherwise, why be a phony and "pretend" to agree, to be "at peace" . The Bible says, "IF POSSIBLE, be at peace with all men. "But should we compromise our principles to be "tactful?"Like an example that reminded me of this , and prompted me to post this...in the book of Hebrews, we read what earns people a mention in the "Faith...
I recently had an encounter that reminded me of a past similar experience. As I sat in a Houston area park, on a mid September day in 2016, I was taken aback by an assault levied on me, by a four year old. I know, right?! I had to laugh at that one myself. Walking with her mother, who also had an infant in tow, was a little girl seemingly reluctant to follow her mother's instructions. I initially took notice of the child because she kept saying "No;" not at all unusual behavior for a child her age; yet, diversionary, non the less. Suddenly, the little girl picked up a handful of rocks, ran toward me, then with all her little four year old might, hurled them at me. Uninjured, as most of the rocks fell to the ground before reaching...
"Franklin Graham's Prayer March & Jonathan Cahn's 'The Return' Aim to Keep USA From 'Point of No Return'" (by Paul Strand, CBN)... Has America moved so far from God, it's passed the point of no return? Religious believers gathering on the National Mall and around the nation September 26th are pleading with God that it not be so. At two huge events – Washington Prayer March 2020 and a solemn assembly called The Return – they'll be praying America be given more time. Evangelist Franklin Graham and prophetic writer Jonathan Cahn both say God led them separately to call for these huge assemblies on the National Mall September 26th. "God is Converging Everything" Cahn doesn't think it's just a coincidence. He told CBN News, "God is...
Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (James 5:16, Ask for Help It’s easy to hide things in our lives and let people see only what we want them to see. All the heroes of faith in the Scripture had their weaknesses and failures. Everyone has issues. If you’re still struggling in an area today, there is no shame in asking for help. Sometimes we think we’re supposed to be perfect, so we can’t let anybody know we have a bad habit, an addiction, or a struggle. We would be embarrassed if others knew. Today’s Scripture tells you to not let shame keep you isolated. Real healing begins when we get honest. There are some things that you can’t overcome on your own. You need to find somebody to...

Most landlords know what tenants look, act and do in the appartment they rent. Some are very nice and pòlite and pay their rent on time. Others do not pày on time or keep well the place they live in. Few of them destroy property and refuse to leave the premises. All of them need the Lord. Most of them are unsaved and need a Savior to bless, help and guide their steps towards heaven. There is power in speaking peoples names before the Lord. Name all your tenants before Jesus to save them, heal them and bless them. When others hear talk about Jesus on their behalf, healing often start to take place. Those who drink and smoke will not do that anymore. Jesus will take away those evil desires from their lives. Make sure that all...
"...Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth?... Is it not I, the LORD?" (Exodus 4:11, Use What You Have When God told Moses to go and tell Pharaoh, “Let My people go,” Moses said, “God, I can’t do that. I don’t speak well. I stutter.” Moses was saying, “God, I don’t have what it takes. You didn’t give me that gift. I’m afraid.” He kept making excuse after excuse until the Scripture says, “God became angry with Moses.” He was angry because Moses saw his gift as not enough. He’s displeased when we’re not using what He’s given us, when we’re making excuses, discounting our gifts. God said to Moses, “Who made your tongue?” He was saying, “Moses, I created the universe. I flung stars into space. You didn’t get...
Deeper our faith it becomes. Breath out any tension, any worry and anything that will turn away your thoughts from Jesus. Relax the body, feet, shoulders, neck and mind. Set your eyes on the Lord wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Awaken memory of the wonderful work Jesus has done in your life. Change, move, strenghten you love for God all the time. Ask the Lord ... Search me, o God, and know my heart. Try me and know my anxieties. And see if there is any weaked way in me. And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139.23
