L O V E What is Love (capital 'L') This topic has many verses to draw from. Too many to list in one blog. Please feel free to share verses and your understanding on Love. KEY VERSE 1 Corinthians 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. This verse brings the importance of Love into clarity without ambiguity into our Christian lives. There is nothing on earth more important than Love, yes nothing! We must understand it. Without it we cannot engage in a proper relationship with God, nor can we fully understand the nature of Love. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love...
What a wonderful name. What wonderful experience. Jesus sees every single pain we are going through. He knows your need and He sees the tears of your eyes. In our heart we know the Truth. We know that God sees our every single deed and knows the desire of our heart. Come to Him just as you are and ask forgiveness. He will forgive, help and heal your troubled soul. He loves you and cares for you. O the deep, deep love of Jesus. Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free. Rolling as mighty ocean, In its fullness over me. Underneath me, All around me. Is the current of Thy love. Leading onward, Leading homeward, To Thy glorious rest above. What a wonderful song. It really blessed my soul. True words that pierce our hearts.
https://www.christianpost.com/voices/7-steps-to-creating-intimacy-with-god.html Here are seven steps to creating intimacy with God: 1. Make a commitment to have a Quiet Time every day Determine the value of intimacy with God has in your life. View it equally as important as food for your body or the oxygen you need to breathe. 2. Prioritize your Quiet Time This really has to be your first and most important activity of your day. It’s likely that every day you have to decide which things you’re going to do that have the highest priority. If you make a list of things to do, put this as number one. 3. Choose a place and schedule a time daily to have your Quiet Time For most people, first thing in the morning seems to work...
“...The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!...” (Psalm 56:9,) A Miracle Put in Motion You have things you’re believing for—perhaps a dream to come to pass, your health to turn around, or to meet the right person. You’ve been praying for a long time, but you don’t see anything happening. It seems like God is on vacation and as though your prayers aren’t doing any good. But what you can’t see is that God is at work behind the scenes. Don’t believe the lies that say your praying, believing, and standing in faith is a waste of time. He not only heard your prayer, but He put the miracle in motion. In today’s Scripture, the psalmist says it happens the very day you...
Our next days will be our best days we have on this planet. The pain will end, tears will stop, doors will open up for you to enter in. God has a wonderful plan for our life. He love us with an everlasting love and cares for us. He knows what we are going through. He wants to carry you through thick and thin. A season of blessings and grace is in the horizon. Do not give up. Keep up on going and wonderful things shall come to your life. Remember... The way to heaven is ascending. We must be happy and joyful to travel uphill. Though it will be hard and tiresome. Jesus is with us all the way to glory. Hear the voice of the Lord. I am the Way, the Truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but through Me. John...
According to God's viewpoint. . . Isaiah 32:1-8 (KJV) 1) Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. 2) And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. 3) And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. 4) The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. 5) The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6) For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error...
As we close our eyes at night let us all enter into the holy presence of Jesus. He want us all to enjoy His presence in our heart. As for me... I will bless the Lord all the days of my life. Give Him the glory due to His name wherever I am. The Lord is gracious to all of us. Full of mercy and compassion. Great in kindness and good to all. The Lord is righteous in all His ways. He will lead us all to our heaven home in glory. So.... Sleep in peace tonight. Give all your thoughts and all your love to Him. God is bigger than anything that comes to all of us. Illness of all kinds will stay away, all worry and fear will end. The peace that passeth all understanding shall fill your heart with joy.
It's always interesting to me, the strange looks I get when I praise God in public. People actually think I'm crazy when I lift my hands; and, oh my goodness, don't let me break out into a little dance . . . contact the authorities! Why can't I wave my hands to the heavens, in public? I see people waving at each other all the time, especially in traffic. Albeit, a very conservative wave: usually using only three fingers, yet they acknowledge one another, which seems to be, not in the least bit, strange, to the general public, but somehow even acceptable. KINDA SAD . . . "Takes one to know one?" Perhaps . . . for though God knew not sin, He became sin that we might be set free from sin. I can't lie, I used to be the same way...
A relaxed attitude lengthens a man’s life; jealousy rots it away. (Proverbs 14:30) Young at Heart No matter what age you are, you can be young at heart, full of faith, energy, and creativity. Your spirit never ages. It doesn’t have to get old and grouchy. You can stay young in spirit. The way that happens is to give no place to the negative. Get in a habit of emptying out any offenses, knowing that God is in control and will do what He promised despite what comes against you. Empty out the worry and anxiety. If you made a mistake, empty out the guilt. If you didn’t do your best, empty out the regret. If you were upset because you didn’t get the credit you deserved, empty out the self-pity. If you had a bad break, and you don’t...
