Jesus fulfilled and fulfills the law. The old covenant was abolished by Jesus Christ Roman 10:4 when Jesus established the new covenant Heb 8:6. “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.” Hebrews 8:7 Jesus spoke of the new covenant during the last supper Luke 22:20 and it came into effect after Jesus rose but more specifically at Pentacost Acts 2:1-4 . We are under the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law. We are under His Grace. ‘But you go and figure out what this means: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice. No man sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment, or the patch will shrink and the tear will be worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles or...
Jesus is the Truth and He comes from heaven to tell everyone of us to tell the truth always, even when it hurts. Those who obey His voice shall be helped, healed and blessed. Telling the truth will get us all to heaven. Never ever tell lies to anyone. Jesus loves those who obey His voice. Help us o Lord to be truthful always. Amen
The Truth about Lying. The amount of verses that speak against lying are countless, which includes the 9th commandment. Still many see lying as a 'small sin'. Let's see what the scriptures says. Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. ESV Under God, we have become a new creation and deceitfulness are left for the old self. Lying is not from God. 1 Timothy 1:9-10 9. understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for...
```html Jesus doesn't ask much of us. Still, He has given us an opportunity, however uncomfortable, to do something for Him. But, in rebellion, even knowing that He, himself, was thrown out of the temple, we complain about masks, social distancing, and not being able to gather in the opulence and comfort of our churches. Some even, in thinking they're exhibiting great faith, dishonor Him by defying the instructions given through His servant; thereby denying His request to acknowledge the sacrifice He made, on our behalves, by simply meeting Him outside the gates. Such a small thing. When I consider how uncomfortable it must've been for Jesus - humiliated, dragged outside the gates, beaten, and nailed to a cross, where He died burdened...
Faith Gives Us Victory! 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. ESV One of our greatest victory is not in never being disappointed but rising when we are disappointed. Trials and tribulations does not have the power to permanently affect your life, unless you give it authority. James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. ESV 1 John 5:4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. ESV Faith Gives Us Victory!
I exalt Thee o Lord for Thou art on high above the earth. Thou art exalted far above our life. I exalt Thee o Lord. Forever more we will lift our voice to You. For your loving kindness and mercy reaches us all. We cannot force anyone to hear a message they are not ready to receive it, but we can shine for Jesus with our life full of love, compassion and mercy. The traits Jesus showed, we should show others also. Never underestimate the power of planting eternal seeds on peoples lives like those the Bible mentioned. The spirit of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Gal. 5:22. Plant seeds of eternal life wherever you are. God will make it grow and people shall rejoice in the Lord. Seek peace and mercy among...
Divine Love will take you there! Galatians 6:8-9 8. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. - World English Bible Comment Those who live their lives in corruption [self-serving] will reap destruction, while those who live their lives engaged in righteousness [divine selfless Love] will reap Life everlasting. The point to note here is 'if we don't give up.' Our spirit is willing but our flesh is weak. In fact, better words for 'weak' would be 'crave' or 'lust' for. As Christians hunger and thirst for His righteousness, the flesh hunger and...
