That is the question I was wondering for so long. Seeing so many losing their loved ones, losing their jobs and their health. Being broke and out and it seems that no one cares. Yes, suffering can make us more resilient, better to endure hardships in life. Our emotions must endure pain in order to strengthen our spiritual life. Jesus endured such deep pain and sorrow. His sweat turned into blood dropping into His shoulder. But why people are suffering so much today? It could be that sin and evil has come before the Lord and He sees everything we do and say. So, moral evil and natural evil is taking over our world today. Abortion, murder, rejection of God's word could be the ones that make us all suffer. Result, natural disasters...
Heatwave dome is coming along the shores of people who call for help. Records are smashing like never before as meter soar. Airwaves send messages of concern to all of us. It affects our health and our environment. Hot winds harry and the forest burn. Heatwave please go away. We need a healthy planet. Just as God created in the first place. Heat waves bake and everyone wails. Calling on the Lord for mercy. A taste of hell's burning fire we do not want. We want the atmosphere of heaven. When the roll is called up yonder I will be there. Jesus will save us from the heatwave.
This pandemic really made peoples lives so hard and we are unable to control anything because if the virus gets into your system, then it is all over for anyone. This inability to pay for living expenses or mortgage. Call on the Lord when you are broke. Ask for blessings in your life. God did not forget you. He loves you and wants to bless your life. He said. I will bless those who honor My name. I believe it with my whole heart. Amen
I was in bed and no one came to visit but my pastor and his wife. Very polite and his words touched my heart. I thought I was going to die with Covid but something happened when Jesus spoke through his voice. You are down and out but not for too long. You will beat your sickness because you have believed God's word. You are strong in the Lord when you pray daily. You are alive and well when you enter into His holy presence. You are tied to this bed, But it will not be for too long. I am so sure of this. The touch of the Master will make you well. Heal me o Lord and I will be healed. Save me and I will be saved, for You are the One I praise. Jer. 17:14
Take Dominion!
```markdown In my younger days (today I'm ### yrs old) I would celebrate my birthday along with Dominion Day in Canada. Canada's National Holiday has changed name since then and it's now simply called Canada Day. I am one of a few who can claim to be a Dominion child. Late in my life I came to see July 1st as a reminder of my obligations as a Christian. After all, it was still Dominion Day to me. I have recently been taken a self audit of my inner-being [every July 1] to see if anything can be hindering my spiritual growth. You can't have dominion in life if you don't have dominion of yourself through Jesus. Today I celebrated Dominion Day! It's a cross between a new year resolution and thanks giving. The word dominion is defined as...
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10, NIV) Guard Your Sense of Value If somebody did you wrong, rather than internalize it and wonder if there is something wrong with you, have you ever thought that they hurt you because they were messed up? Maybe they felt so badly about themselves, so unlovable, that they tried to project it onto you. How they are treating you flows from their own insecurities, fears, hurts, wounds, prejudices, and dysfunctions. Hurting people end up hurting other people. Messed-up people can mess you up. If you base your value on what they’re giving you, you can...
The Lord's holy presence shines everywhere you look. His wonders to tell anyone that He is alive and well and He is coming very soon to take us all home to heaven. In the middle of an arena of pandemonium a garden of beautiful flowers comes along our path. It is Jesus, the Gardener of His creation. But who are we in the middle of the pandemonium of illness, lack of funds, loss of a job, uncertainty, and fear? Who should we call now? We are the only person alive who has sole custody of our life. Jesus sent us at this particular time for a purpose. To witness the power, His mercy, and compassion on those who believe. He is involved in our life not only in the desk where we are right now. At bus station where we are trying to get...
18 As for the Israelites, I have heard them complaining about not having meat and about being better off in Egypt. So tell them to make themselves acceptable to me, because tomorrow they will have meat. 19-20 In fact, they will have meat day after day for a whole month—not just a few days, or even ten or twenty. They turned against me and wanted to return to Egypt. Now they will eat meat until they get sick of it. 21 Moses replied, “At least six hundred thousand grown men are here with me. How can you say there will be enough meat to feed them and their families for a whole month? 22 Even if we butchered all of our sheep and cattle, or caught every fish in the sea, we wouldn’t have enough to feed them.” 23 The Lord answered, “I can...
It is encouraging to see so many eyes and smiling faces as they vaccinated and get ready to work again. But it would really work? I am trusting in the Lord's mercy and believing His word. I am the One who healeth you. I trust Your word, o Lord. Send healing and mercy on those who need it. We are trusting in You alone. Amen
