We are not perfect by any stretch. Churches are not perfect either, we are sinners saved by grace and mercy of the Lord. I have made many mistakes, I have many regrets. I burned bridges I should never have crossed for which I had to pay the price. But the mercy of the Lord comes to those who seek His face and turn to Him with all their heart. When we are left all alone in a dark world, Jesus becomes our best Friend. When we are sick and in bed, the Lord comes and heals our broken soul. When I am out in debt and have no money coming in... I'm not over protesting and I'm certainly not condoning foolishness, but we must be aware of the critical pharisaical deceptions that the devil uses to try and shut down God's worshippers. The Bible gives example after example where the devil has tried to insert this kind of criticism; from the story of David and Michal to the misperception of some being intoxicated because of the way they praised. As scripture continues to burst through so veraciously, this thing gets so real, that sometimes, it's easy to forget that I said "Here am I Lord, send me."
