I just heard a refreshing two-part sermon by Pastor/Teacher ### Jr. Here are some highlights; powerful reminders to help us lay down fear and worry and every anxiety that steals our peace and wastes our precious time. Worry is a failure to understand divine priority. Luke 12:22-23 “And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will...
1 Corinthians 26. Christian friends, remember the time when God called you to come to him. Think about what you were like. Not many of you were clever or powerful in the way that people think is good. Not many of you belonged to important families. 27 Instead, God chose to use things that people think are silly. He did this so that clever people would be ashamed. Yes, God chose to use things that people think are weak. He did this so that powerful people would be ashamed. 28 God chose to use things that people think are useless. People who belong to this world do not like those things. They think that they have no value. God did this so that the things that seem important would become unimportant.
True friends in Jesus smile at you, they are so glad to see you around, they care for you and ask Jesus to bless your life. They are heaven sent. Be grateful to God for sending people who really love the Lord and praise Him during the day and all night long. From the bottom of my heart I will always praise my dear Savior and Lord. He alone is worthy of all glory. My heart rejoices in Him alone. Glory be to His name. Now and forever more. Amen
We must know Jesus. The word know is all encompassing. It is not just limited in believing on His name. You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder. - James 2:19 - Just believing God is not enough. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! - Matthew 7:22-23 - Jesus clearly defines a prerequisite for Christianity; He must know you. What does that mean? No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I...
Every single Israelite were singing praises to God almighty when they were freed from bondage in Egypt. Beautiful words were said just like this one... I will sing to the Lord. For He is hightly exalted. Both horse and driver, He has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strenght and my defense. He has become my salvation. He is my God and I will praise Him. My fathers God and I will exalt Him. The Lord is a warrior. The Lord is His name. Let us all raise our voices to Jesus, our dear Savior and Lord. Singing can be good for anyone of us at any level we are living in. It helps lower stress and worry. It drives satan away from us. Boosts immunity and lung function. We draw closer to the heart of God. Good tiding we bring...
Sometime ago I sent out an email to all my classmates. Some of them are working for Jesus while others are just thinkers, idea generators, strategists and creative types of persons. Others are builders from builders have jumped to be actors and make things happen. Some have built churches and grown into a big and large crowds but Covid are not allowing them to come in as they used to do. They are a kind God has chosen for Himself. They are filled with the precious Holy Spirit of God. None of them are missing the mark. Most of them are running the race Jesus has set for us. Every name brings back a wonderful memory of who they are. A class, a conversation, sharing ideas. It was a life long ago, But it continues to come back again and...
Romans 12 We should know how to serve God 1 My Christian friends, God has been very kind to us. Because of that, I really want you to serve God with your whole life. Offer your bodies to him like a sacrifice that continues to live. Serve him with everything that you have and that will please him. That is the true way to worship God. 2 Do not become like the people who belong to this world. But let God completely change the way that you think, so that you live differently. Then you will understand what God wants you to do. You will know what is good. You will know what pleases God. You will know what is completely right. 3 God has been kind to me so that I can serve him. Because of that, I say this to every one of you: Do not think...
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. King James Version COMMENT The humble are set to inherit much more than the arrogant and prideful counterparts. The meek are by their very nature happy. In fact, many Bible translations use the word happy instead of meek. The meek have the ability to quietly and peacefully manage his/her everyday life, be patient, bear insult, and return a soft answer if required to do so. There lies no hidden or self-serving agendas. There's no 'see I told you so! Not only do the meek have a special quality to enjoy life here on earth today, but because of their contentment, they will possess and enjoy the earth when Jesus returns. Meekness promotes Love. It does not...
What a beautiful sight to behold, just as Jacob did in the middle of travelling the world seeking a place to stay. An eternal home in heaven was shown to Him with a wonderful promise to his heart. While Jacob was travelling one night he stayed at a place called ###. During the night he had a dream of a stairway reaching up to heaven. Angels ascending and descending it. A bridge that unites us between heaven and earth. Above it stood the Lord: Jesus Himself speaking to Him. I am the Lord the God of your father. What a beautiful sight to see. To feel the holy presence of Jesus. To know that He is alive and waiting for you and for me. This stairway to heaven may lie far beyond my soul. But I can feel it, I can see it, I can touch the hand...
