I never realized how ungrateful I was or how I took the little things in life for granted. I used to eat my food down in like 10 minutes or less but now it takes me forever to eat as I had to relearn how to. Things I would never take the time to enjoy because I was just so busy trying to survive. Now I have to take time for it all. Be thankful and grateful. I thank God for a second chance at life.
```html <font size="5">Father God, we pray for pastors, spiritual leaders, missionaries, our own churches and other Christian churches and ministries around the world, (1 Cor 4:20), "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power." Today is Sunday for most of the World's population and will be Sunday tomorrow for the rest. Let the pure Gospel of Christ be proclaimed, which is "The power of God unto salvation to all who believe," (Rom 1:16); "and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24)</B>. Help us be holy without spot or wrinkle (Eph 5:26-27). We ask You to bless good government (1 Timothy 2:1-3), raise up strong leaders that permit the Word of Jesus to spread (Ps 75:6; 1 Tim 2:1-5; 2 Thes 2:1). Deliver us from evil people...
The Lord is merciful and kind to those who seek His face. His gentle care and mercy we see on the lives of those who serve Him. Yes, Jesus You are the sweetest name of all. Jesus You always hear me when I call. Jesus You lift me up each time I fall. You are the sweetest name of all. Once we start loving our dear Lord and Savior, it will make our wounded spirit whole and pure. It will calm our troubled soul and the peace of the Lord will fill our heart with joy. He is the Manna to the hungry heart and all weary will find rest. O the glory of Your presence. Of Your presence. We Your temple, Give You reverence. So arise from Your rest. And be blessed by our praise, As we glory in Your embrace. As Your presence now...
```markdown Why Does God Test Us? Know the Bible Meaning Log into Facebook https://twitter.com/intent/tweet/?text=Why%20Does%20God%20Test%20Us?%20Know%20the%20Bible%20Meaning&url=https://www.christianity.com/wiki/god/why-does-god-test-us.html Being tested by God has been misunderstood by many. It is clear in the scriptures that God does test us. However, God does not send sickness, disease, or calamity into our lives to test us. Those things steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus is the Good Shepherd who came to give us abundant life. He warned us in John 16:33 that we’d encounter trouble in the world but then encouraged us by telling us he had overcome it. Being tested by God is a matter of the heart and for a specific purpose...
The greater the calling on a person's life the greater the testing. In other words the more that God has planned for you to do the more difficulty that he allows you to go through. Why because God wants you to have a strong enough character to support the weight of your calling. It doesn't do God any good if he elevates you to a position of influence and then you end up falling and taking other people down with you. And we could see this principle taught all throughout the Bible from Abraham to Joseph to Moses to David. Today's one minute encouragement will bless you. The greater the call on your life, the greater the testing, the greater the anointing...
In the world we will have all kinds of trials and tribulations, just as Jesus told us. He said. These things I have spoken unto you that in Me ye shall have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16.33 So, let us all remain faithful and true to the Lord. He has brought us here to earth to be overcomers through the Blood of the Lamb. The end of everything will come sooner than we think, so let us all take up our cross and follow the Lord all the way to His glorious presence. We have a mountain to climb and it is going to be difficult, but with Jesus' help and grace we can do it. Hear the words of the Lord. I will never leave you nor forsake you. So, continue the road...
Thou o Lord are a heavenly being below an endless sky, in silence You rule the world, You sustain the world You have created. You are the beginning and the end of everything. We have nothing at all, everything belongs to You. Our time on earth is very short, Your time is eternity, it has no end. We simply will not find heaven on earth without pursuing and living in the holy presence of God. Straight from the garden of prayer I have come to Him, I felt a heavenly touch, I was surrounded by angels in heaven while they were singing glorious songs to Him. You are all I need, Jesus You are all I need. Packaged so sweetly God's word introduced me into His presence, full of love, mercy and compassion. The mountains and hills may crumble...
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. - Isaiah 43:1 “It’s just one word, but everything changes when they hear it as they come through the door.” My close friend runs a weekly toddler group, intended to give mums and dads a safe place of care and support where they can share their stories and struggles. Crucially, she’s discovered the difference it makes to greet each individual with a very special word: their name. “Nervousness gives way to surprise and joy when they realise I know them,” she explained to me. Calling them by their name is an essential first step in showing these parents and children that they are welcome and safe. And this was also how God chose to reassure His own people...
For those who are already saved, reconciliation comes through repentance through the Blood of the Lamb. Romans 5.1 If you left church and forget to read God's word and pray then you must reconcile with the Lord. This is what we all should do. A. Come to Jesus just as you are. B. Speak to Him in repentance. C. Communication is essential. D. Listen to the still small voice. E. Show gratitude for forgiveness comes from Him. F. Be mindful of His word. G. Obey Him and walk in the light. H. Expect great things coming to your life. For the name of the Lord is great, He is full of mercy and compassion on anyone who comes to Him and will never ever reject or ignore the pain you are going through. I sing praises to Your name o...
