True peace down deep in our souls is brought only by the holy presence of Jesus living and abiding in our hearts. It's so easy to say "God I'll never let go of you and I'll always serve you" but when temptations come and hardness, your Faith seems to fail or to back down. Let's look at Job in God's word, a servant of God who God himself looked at Job with favor until Satan showed up and asked God to allow him to test Job and see if he truly stays Faithful. (Job 1:6-22, 2:13) even though Job was going through alot of suffering and pain, he never cursed God or blamed God. Job trusted God in everything. The Blood of Jesus can cleanse us from all sin. All evil thoughts and ideas that have come to us, Jesus will take away from us. His love and mercy is from everlasting to everlasting to those who love Him. Dear Lord, Thank you for getting me up this morning to greet another day and live for You. You make my life truly good. I know that there are a thousand different things that can go wrong today, but I choose to focus on Your goodness. God help me focus on Your goodness. I pray that You will help me have a good day today, despite my changing circumstances. Give me the wisdom and discernment to know how I can help someone or reach out to someone who is hurting.
