Imagine selecting your favourite song on one of your CDs but when you go to play it, you hear a horrendous hissing noise. There was a gentleman with such sensitive hearing that he was employed in the CD quality control department. I'm not sure exactly what his position was called but he would spend most of his working time listening to defects on CDs - white and hissing noises. After a while, he had become so proficient at his trade that he inadvertently and subconsciously brought his talent home to his CD collection. His once source of relaxation had now been corrupted by white noise and hisses. He had programmed himself to hear the bad only - 'the hiss before the music'. How sad! He successfully managed to bury the beautiful...
I love the past when Jesus found me in the streets of pain and sorrow. So lost, so alone, no one cared, mother dead, father long gone and family members did not remember me at all. All hope lost on earth. Then the eyes of the Lord came over me when I approached this wonderful church where Gods word were heard so clear and so loud. Come to Me... says the Lord. All you who are weary and carrying a heavy burden. I will give you rest. Matt. 11.28 This heavenly invitation could not ignore nor walk away from it. This surely was the solution to all my problems and all those things I was going through. Then I heard this beautiful song by the choir of that church. Jesus, name above all names,. Beautiful Savior. Glorious Lord. He...
Loners are people who actively try to stay away as possible from social interactions; they prefer solitude instead of the company of others. Jesus was not a loner; He loved to be with people and teach them God's word, the truth of life after death, and more than that, show others that He was the Messiah sent from above. Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and slipped out to a solitary place to pray. Mark 1:35 Receive His healing touch when you go out into a solitary place and pray. Staying and living in the holy presence of Jesus is a gift that comes from heaven. He is the Savior of my soul... He walks along with us, smiling and guiding our steps towards heaven. Deep within we feel a heavenly presence...
The Lord is knocking the door of our heart. He is speaking to the depths of our soul. He is calling all of us to come to Him and find peace, joy, happiness, and mercy. Open your heart and mind to the voice of the Lord. In quiet and in confidence shall be your strength. Isa. 30.15 Let all approach God's holy presence. Far away from the worries of life. Request for guidance and leadership. Our life depends on Him alone. Let us all wait in silence and reverence. Sing praises to Him. Jesus delights in the praises of His people. Listen to the whispering of His mercy. He will bring heavenly thoughts of love. Deep peace and joy shall overwhelm you. He will let you know for sure. Who He is and what He can do for you...
Wait On The Lord
Psalms 27:14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Psalms 37:7-9 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. (Read More...) Psalms 130:5 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
When Jesus touches our heart and mind transformation comes to the deepest part of our soul. We are undone, we are so helpless and so deep in awe when the holy presence of Jesus comes to our life. Living a life in the presence of the Lord is the best time we have with Him. So, let us all turn our eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face. Then the things of this world. Will grow strangely dim. In the light of His glory and grace. I am doing this right now. Fill my o Lord with Thy presence. Amen
