Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Contrary to what many think, it doesn’t take much to be born again. All that’s required is to come into Christ. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” That’s all the sinner needs to do. True pleasure in our life does not come in what the world offers us, because what the devil shows us is temporal and will pass away in time. But those wonderful promises Jesus has given to us should cause our hearts to delight in Him alone. [Delighting in God's word leads us to delight in God Himself.
