I find myself very fearful of handling most situations in my life. Pray for me

I need prayer to help me achieve God's purposes for my life. I feel a calling to help the poor and those in need. I feel the trouble is I am a very backward person and need more boldness. Please pray I get a more Godly assertiveness.
