Dear Lord Jesus,
I have lots of good ideas for the zoo and it doesn’t necessarily have to be for me, but the animals are in your need.
First of all there are many large animals and small enclosures not big enough. And lots of them are in climates unsuitable or at least during certain times of the season.
Instance lions live in hot Savannah’s and have lots of land and zoos. They pace back-and-forth to make matters worse in Canada northern United States parts of Europe, where it snows it seldomly snows in Africa and they are not used to that many Zoo’s have them locked inside where it’s stressful and boring.
And Gorillaz they do not sleep in the same spot twice a day they move every day and silverbacks can get cabin, fever, and their bachelor troop
Even small animals at Zoo I’ve worked for such as the Manwa have paste, and some Zeus of even these animals do tricks against their will.
Other animals are still put in show when they’re meant to be wild and do not feel comfortable
A good example there would be alligators their mouths or tape shot just to be shown to kids at their birthday parties or if they’re not tape shot there’s always a chance that someone could be bit.
Alligators are not pet animals, but those creatures need is large spaces. They’re not as picky as other animals and guests can feed them behind a fence.
What places where it snows cannot have Nile hippos giraffes large cats instead northern and wintry places can have pygmy hippos to be out in the spring and summer inside during the winter enough space protection from predators instead of large cats, small cats instead of giraffes are copies or giraffes are social need lots of space copies are solitary smaller protection from predators
I know some Zoo only keep animals temporary like rhinos and one zoo I worked. They’re only a temporary enclosure and will be moved to a bachelor and maybe that’s what they gotta do for any of them and when those rhinos leave a new generation comes on and on and on, they could probably do the same for elephants.
But specifically only bowl elephants say in northern US two bowl elephants stay for a few years after their adults then move down to 100 acre enclosure generations follow the cow elephant stay down south and herd in either 100 acre or 1000 acrres sanctuaries but still need to breed to save the species.
Maybe even Borneo elephants the smallest sub species that doesn’t need as much space and rather docile.
Or clone wholly Mammoths for winter places and and mastadons for less space and the extinct dwarf elephants.
As for small animals rotate enclosure for simaolr habitats. Prarie dogs and meerkats, ducks and penguins, otters and beavers.
Other small animals like the platypus only in Astriailin zoos and one in California. Could there more often. Unique.
Some may never be in zoos like shrews, true moles, golden moles, and colugos.
Because zoos help save animals from extinction. When done right.
In Jesus Name Amen.
