In 2015 over 41,000 people in the U.S. alone were convinced by Satan that their life didn't count for anything and they ended up taking their lives. This number seems to be escalating year by year, as the days are getting darker. The enemy of their souls had so degraded these peoples self worth by life circumstances and bad relationships along with a string of various other reasons, they saw life not worth living. The shame of it is, given time their circumstances could have changed for the better.
Every person needs to feel accepted and loved, needing the affirmation of those around them. When this doesn't readily happen, the enemy sets in to destroy their self worth and lives with destructive lies such as, your ugly, nobody will ever love you, or you will never amount to anything what's the use in trying, or your a loser or a failure. Nobody cares about you, on and on his lies go trying to destroy precious souls.
You may be feeling this way right now, but this is all lies of the devil. You need to start listening to the truth from the one who created you. God formed you in His on image and for a purpose, Genesis 1:26. Also Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. You may say, that may be so but I don't feel loved by God. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world (YOU) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. We were all created to have a loving relationship with our maker and a purpose in life. We were not created for just a mere existence.
If our lives have the correct perspective through Gods word which is the truth, we will be productive individuals with purpose in life. We will touch many lives, making a difference in this world. Jesus said in John 10:10 The thief (the devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
Your life matters so much to God who created you and to others who are awaiting your touch. Remember you are precious in God's sight, freckles, wrinkles and all. Think about that next time ole slew foot comes trying to lie to you.
