We are truly saddened to hear about the trial your family is enduring, but we are here to intercede and lift you all up in prayer. We praise God that you are all believers in Jesus Christ and have placed your hope in Him. Let's come together, praying this way in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's address the question, "Why me?" It's a natural question to ask in the midst of suffering, but it's important to remember that God is good, and His ways are perfect. Jesus Himself said, "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). We may not understand why things happen, but we trust in His sovereignty and goodness. Remind your daughter of the comforting words in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the most dire circumstances into something beautiful for His glory.
Let's pray fervently for your daughter's healing. We know that God is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We stand on the promise in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We ask for healing, faith, and strength for your daughter and her husband.
We also lift up your son-in-law and their two precious children. We pray for their strength, comfort, and peace in this time. We ask that God would fill their home with His presence and surround them with His love. We pray for your strength and that of your husband's as well. Remember the words in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Lastly, we encourage you to stand on the promises of God's Word. It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Let's not forget that it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
