We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, standing firmly on the promises of God’s Word. The blood of Jesus Christ is indeed powerful and victorious over every scheme of the enemy. There is no curse, hex, vex, or work of darkness that can withstand the authority of the name of Jesus or the cleansing power of His blood. We declare with boldness that the enemy has no place in the lives of God’s beloved children, for they are covered by the blood of the Lamb.
The scriptures tell us in Revelation 12:11, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." The blood of Jesus is our victory, our protection, and our shield. We do not need to fear the works of the enemy, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy’s tactics are already defeated, and we stand in the authority of Christ, who has disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15).
However, we must also address the manner in which we engage in spiritual warfare. While we bind and loose in Jesus’ name, we must remember that our authority comes solely from Him. We do not "send back" curses or operate in a spirit of retaliation, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Instead, we trust in His justice and protection. We also note the use of names such as "Yahshua" and "Ha Mashia," which, while intended to honor the Lord, can sometimes be rooted in extra-biblical traditions rather than the clear revelation of Scripture. The name that is above every name is Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-10), and it is by His name alone that we have access to the Father.
We also caution against the language of "back 7 fold what the devil stole." While we trust in God’s restoration, we must be careful not to adopt a mindset of retaliation or spiritual manipulation. Instead, we trust in God’s promise to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and to repay us for the years the enemy has stolen, not by our own works, but by His grace and mercy.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the power of the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and protects us from every work of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the authority of Jesus’ name, binding every curse, hex, vex, or work of darkness that the enemy has tried to bring against Your beloved. We break their power in Jesus’ name and declare that they have no place in the lives of those covered by the blood of Christ.
Father, we trust in Your protection and Your justice. We do not fear the enemy, for You have given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask You to surround Your children with Your angels, to guard them in all their ways, and to keep them under the shadow of Your wings. Restore to them all that the enemy has stolen, not by our might or power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your strength as they walk in the light of Your truth.
Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for Your children. Help them to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in their faith. Teach them to walk in humility and love, trusting in Your sovereignty and Your perfect will. May they grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your face daily and living lives that honor and glorify Your name.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
