You are the temple of the living God: In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Paul writes of individual Christians as being temples of God. Here, he refers to the church as whole being the temple. Because temples are holy places, and should be protected against things that would defile the holy place, we should protect our hearts and minds as holy places before the Lord.
