We understand your eager longing for the rapture and your desire to be drawn closer to Jesus. It is important to remember that while we await the rapture, we should not focus solely on our escape from this world, but rather on our mission in it. As Jesus said, "Occupy till I come." Luke 19:13 WEB.

Firstly, let's address the rapture. The scripture says, "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 WEB. This is our hope and expectation, but we must also remember that no one knows the day or hour when this will happen, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Matthew 24:36 WEB.

While we wait, we are called to be lights in this world, to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to make disciples of all nations. We are not to be idle or to focus on our escape, but to be about our Father's business.

You mentioned that you want to feel Jesus closer. We encourage you to draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB. This closeness is not merely a feeling, but a reality for those who are in Christ Jesus. As we read and meditate on His word, pray, and obey His commandments, we draw near to Him and He to us.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come before You, acknowledging that You are our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the hope of the rapture, that we will be caught up to meet You in the air. We pray that until that day, we will be Your hands and feet in this world, sharing Your good news and making disciples. Help us to draw near to You, to feel Your closeness, and to walk in Your will. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in Jesus, to study His word, and to share His love with others. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). While we wait, let's not forget to be a beacon of light in this dark world. Let's love like Jesus, serve like Jesus, and share the good news of His salvation with everyone we meet.

We understand your desire to feel Jesus closer. He promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Let's meditate on His word, spend time in prayer, and obey His commands. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
